City Girl Garden & Urban Farm 803 I am a Gardener, Farmer, & Homesteader. I have fruit trees/bushes. I grow all year in over 30 garden beds. I raise chicken for eggs, pigs, & rabbits for meat.

Today’s Shenanigans With Saluda Trail Middle School’s Teacher Of The Year, Jalavender Clowney & Her 7th Grade Class‼️ In Classroom The Students Are Discussing “Cycles of Matter”, a continuous movement and transformation of essential elements and compounds between living organisms, the atmosphere, soil, and water. As it relates to agriculture and sustainable practices, I discussed the roles of animals, the practice of composting, and the importance of manure on a farm and/or in the garden to nourish plants in order to grow food. We all enjoyed getting outside and refreshing the Saluda Trail Garden.
