Simparica day for Yogi!🐻 PS - it’s been 4 weeks since his final heartworm injection! Somebody cue the celebratory pup cups. 🥹🎉

Our guy has gone from frail to fabulous, got snipped ✂️, got his shots 💉, and officially graduated from heartworm treatment. LOOK AT HIM GO. 😭❤️

Heartworm treatment is no walk in the dog park. 🥲 Weeks of meds, vet visits, anesthesia, pokes and prods, plus the ultimate canine punishment: STRICT EXERCISE RESTRICTIONS. No running. No roughhousing. No going full Yogi.

Soon, Yogi will be able to increase his activity levels…walk farther, play, tug, jump, run, ZOOM!!!!! We are excited to showcase the real, playful boy he’s bursting at the seams to be 🧵🧸

His next prescription? A forever family, a comfy couch, and a lifetime supply of being somebody’s most favorite boy. 🏡❤️

Adoption applications are OPEN 📥

🎉 WE HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS!🎉

Pawsitive Chance Rescue Team is incredibly grateful to announce that we have received a Petfinder Foundation Operation Grant!🐾❤️

This grant will go directly toward some of the everyday essentials that keep our dogs healthy and ready for their next chapter - food and monthly preventatives for the dogs in our rescue program. 🐶

With this funding, all of our dogs will benefit from nutritious food and protection against common parasites while they wait for their foster or forever homes.

Having taken in four heartworm-positive dogs, we know firsthand just how important prevention is. Heartworm treatment can be a long and costly process, and it's something we work hard to help prevent in the first place. That's why we're especially grateful for this grant and the opportunity to ensure the dogs in our care receive the monthly preventatives they need. ❤️

Rescue isn't just about the big moments - the intakes, the adoptions, and the happy gotcha days. It's also about the everyday care that happens in between. Food bowls that need filling, preventatives that need to be given, and making sure every dog in our care has what they need while we work toward finding them a home.

We are so thankful to the Petfinder Foundation for helping us continue providing consistent, quality care to the dogs counting on us. Your support helps take some of the financial pressure off our small rescue and allows us to keep focusing on what matters most: the dogs.

Thank you, Petfinder Foundation, for investing in rescue organizations like ours and, ultimately, the dogs we serve! 🐾

🚨BREAKING NEWS: JETER HAS BEEN CAUGHT IN 4K🚨

We have photographic evidence that Jeter is:

🎾 Extremely serious about tennis balls (or really balls of any type)
👅 A professional tongue-out enthusiast
👀 Not above using puppy-dog eyes to get what he wants
❤️ A total cuddlebug once he decides you're his person

Jeter is about 2–3 years old and is looking for a forever family who appreciates a dog with a LOT of personality. 😂

Now, there is one important thing you should know about our boy: meeting new people can be a little scary for Jeter. He may take some time to warm up and decide that you're okay. His perfect family will be patient and willing to win him over at his own pace - giving him time to settle in, build trust, and get comfortable with his new people before expecting him to meet the entire neighborhood. Once he knows you're his people, you'll get to see the goofy, playful Jeter we know and love. 🥰

Jeter is cat tolerant and can live with another dog with the right introduction, but he can be selective about his canine friends, so slow, proper meet-and-greets are a must. He’s got plenty of energy and would love a family ready to keep working on his training, give him things to do, and then settle in for some serious cuddling.

Basically, Jeter is looking for someone who says:

“Yes, I would like my daily dose of chaos, comedy, cuddles, and one very expressive tongue.”

If that sounds like you… Jeter would like to schedule your interview. 😉

📩 Interested in adopting Jeter? Send us a message or check out his adoption profile!

🐾 WHERE ARE OUR CORGI PEOPLE AT?!🐾

Tato would like to formally file a complaint with the universe because he is still WITHOUT A FOREVER HOME. 😤

This handsome 6-year-old boy has short legs, a BIG personality, and approximately zero interest in waiting any longer. 😂

Tato’s idea of a perfect day?

🎾 Playing fetch
👀 Supervising everything happening around him
🛋️ Being his adorable self
❤️ Finding a human who appreciates his particular brand of sass

Of course, Tato does have a few things on his very important list:

🐾 He needs to be the only dog in his home.
🐾 He is kid friendly, but older kiddos who understand and respect a dog’s boundaries would be the best fit.
🐾 He’ll continue to be cat tested to make sure we know exactly how he feels about those suspicious little housemates. 👀🐈
🐾 He’s currently on a health journey, so his forever family will need to be committed to supporting him along the way.

But seriously… LOOK AT HIM. Those ears. Those legs. That face. That personality. ❤️

Somewhere out there is someone who has been waiting for exactly this guy.

Could it be you?

And if you’re not Tato’s person, help us find them! Share this post and tag your Corgi-loving friends.🐾
