And just like that the outdoor market season is over! I learned so much this year about how to set up the booth and did not have any major wind catastrophe like last year, where my tent almost blew away.
And the best part is always talking with all of you. Learning about what you are looking for, what’s working, and what’s not. And that’s always gone into what I bake.
I love doing these and showing up and connecting with you. But outdoor markets are a total grind. They are unpredictable, expensive (both in time and unsold inventory that cannot be reused) and is totally subjective to the weather.
I will be doing holiday markets in December. But for now I’ll be working on increasing website orders (we just built a new beautiful website), which I hope will be a much bigger part of the business next year.
