Next Generation GunDog Training is looking to add a motivated and dedicated Obedience & GunDog Trainer to our team!

📍 Location: Just outside Rochester, Minnesota

We’re looking for someone who has a genuine passion for working with dogs, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a team dedicated to developing exceptional dogs.

• Experience in obedience and/or gundog training
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• A genuine love for dogs and their development
• Willingness to work long hours when needed
• Excellent communication and people skills

Patopea Water:
Triple water series with ducks. First bird out is middle bird, angle back bridge mark at 67 yards. Second bird is flyer on left into open field at 81 yards. Third bird is right hand bird thrown right to left across pond at 44 yards. Pick up birds in any order. Primary blind is run from same starting point, in to water, across first finger, skim second finger and under the arc of flyer at 85 yards. Second blind, if running, is run from honor box on left, slicing corner of pond and back 82 yards. If running as a walk up, the order is left, middle, right.

Patopea Property Land Series:
Triple land series using pheasant for all retrieves. First bird is thrown from the right hand station, right to left at 32 yds. Second bird is a flyer thrown left to right from the middle station at 104 yd. Third bird is thrown from the left station, left to right at 105 yd. Pick up all 3 birds in any order and honor for working dog on the left.
If running test with blinds, the primary blind is through small gully on back side of right station and left of flyer bird at 93 yards. The second blind is back side of left bird station, near base of tree at 99 yards.

Klinkers Water:
Triple Duck Series. First bird is on left, thrown across pond landing at 72 yards. Second bird is up the middle and is flyer shot left to right at 98 yards. Third bird is on right, across small part of pond at 50 yards. Pick up in any order. Primary blind is up middle, back side of flyer and placed side of bush at 107 yards. Second blind is on the right of honor box (you will move to this spot). Angle entry to left, by point of finger and to the back of pond at 80 yards. If running as a walk up, the order is right, left, middle.

Flight D starts with Dog number 33. Our 1st dog will be dog number 44 which is Miss Evie!!!!

Klinker’s Property Land Series:
Triple land series using pheasant for all retrieves. First bird down is an angle back, thrown left to right at 57 yds from the from middle station. Second bird is a flyer thrown left to right at 105 yds from right station. Third bird, is thrown from left station, right to left at 80 yds. After picking up all 3 birds in any order, honor to the right of the working dog.
If running test with blinds, the primary blind is under the arc of middle bird and through brush, appearing like a keyhole, running on back side of flyer bird, 108 yards. The second blind is on the bank side of left hand bird, 124 yards.
