This little guy's portrait flowed out of me so easily. I love when they do that! My one instruction was to paint him in his favorite pink blanket. What a face.

A portrait of this fine pair was commissioned by my Aunt Claudia to my cousin Leora. I don't know how this is possible, but I think it's the first time I have painted more than one animal in one portrait.

Henry was our foster dog twice. His story is long and involves an army of people who loved and advocated for him. A few months ago he passed away as an old man, with dignity, in the presence of the people who were completely devoted to his happiness and comfort. Nothing I could say or do would ease their pain, but I wanted to give them a gift in a way that I knew how.

Meet Dory, Wilson, and Ozzy. These 3 were commissioned as a gift. I think my favorite thing about doing these tiny paintings is signing my tiny initials. đŸ˜†
