Before everyone heads off for a long weekend of BBQs, adventures, naps, and hopefully ZERO trips to the vet 😎☀️, we have an important holiday reminder!

🏖️ HOMEWARD BOUND ANIMAL CLINIC WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH FOR LABOR DAY.

Our team will be taking a well-deserved day to relax, recharge, and spend some time with our own families and pets. ❤️🐶🐱🦎

If your pet has an emergency while we are closed, Allied Emergency & Referral will be available 24 hours a day throughout the holiday weekend.

🧡🐈 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL GINGER CAT DAY! 🐈🧡

Today we’re celebrating the orange, the fluffy, the striped, the freckled, the cuddly, the chaotic—and yes, sometimes slightly mischievous—ginger cats! 🍊😹

There’s just something special about an orange cat. They seem to come with extra personality, extra confidence, and absolutely zero concern about personal space. 😂

From the sweet snuggler who wants to be carried everywhere to the little orange troublemaker who believes every countertop is their personal kingdom, ginger cats have a way of making life brighter. 🧡

🐾 Fun fact: Not all ginger cats are male! While orange cats are more commonly male because of the way the orange coat gene is inherited, plenty of fabulous female ginger cats are out there too. 👑🧡

So today, give your ginger kitty an extra treat, an extra cuddle, and maybe forgive them for whatever they knocked off the counter last night. 😉
