Owner and trainer Mark Forrest Patrick has a great gift for taking an ill-behaved, sometimes aggressive, dog and turning him into a big old teddy bear! He wanted to help dog lovers in the Rochester area learn how to ca

re for and really enjoy living with their K9 companion. He uses a positive reinforcement approach to building a long lasting relationship between owner and dog. Through this training method, your K9 companion learns that good behavior will be positively rewarded. His business slogan reads "Training for you.... Training for your dog!". He teaches the dog, but he also teaches the owners and their family members how to interact with their pet so that they can be comfortable and happy with their furry companion. Mark is a graduate of Animal Behavior College (ABC) with a certificate in Dog Training, Pet Massage and Veterinary Assistant. As a graduate of ABC, his philosophy is based on positive reinforcement, counter conditioning and motivation, to build a long lasting relationship between human and his best friend!

🐶 Could It Be Kennel Cough? 🤧

If your dog has a persistent, dry "honking" cough, sneezing, nasal discharge, or seems less energetic than usual, it may be kennel cough.

💉 Who should be vaccinated?
Dogs that:
🐾 Visit boarding facilities or daycare
🐾 Go to the groomer
🐾 Attend training classes or dog parks
🐾 Participate in shows or sporting events
🐾 Regularly socialize with other dogs

📅 How often?
Most dogs should receive the Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine once a year, but dogs with frequent exposure may benefit from a booster every 6 months. Give us a call and see what schedule is best for your pup!

📞 If your dog develops a cough, give us a call before bringing them in so we can help protect our other patients.
