Owner and trainer Mark Forrest Patrick has a great gift for taking an ill-behaved, sometimes aggressive, dog and turning him into a big old teddy bear! He wanted to help dog lovers in the Rochester area learn how to care for and really enjoy living with their K9 companion. He uses a positive reinforcement approach to building a long lasting relationship between owner and dog. Through this training method, your K9 companion learns that good behavior will be positively rewarded. His business slogan reads "Training for you.... Training for your dog!". He teaches the dog, but he also teaches the owners and their family members how to interact with their pet so that they can be comfortable and happy with their furry companion. Mark is a graduate of Animal Behavior College (ABC) with a certificate in Dog Training, Pet Massage and Veterinary Assistant. As a graduate of ABC, his philosophy is based on positive reinforcement, counter conditioning and motivation, to build a long lasting relationship between human and his best friend!

THIS is the scale we’re talking about.

Marshall BioResources isn’t a small operation tucked away in North Rose.
It is a massive breeding facility supplying dogs for laboratory research and July 2026 records show 14,565 beagles being held at the North Rose facility alone.

Fourteen. Thousand. Five. Hundred. Sixty-five.

And laboratories can pay more than $1,000 per dog.

That is why we are showing up.

Because behind every number is a living animal. A dog who can feel fear, stress, comfort, trust, and love.
We’ve seen what life after a facility can look like through our own rescued beagles. We know how much healing it can take just to learn how to be a dog.

This is not “just a building.”
This is not “just research.”
This is thousands of lives.

BE THERE.

I have had the honor of working with this beauty. She was adopted from Lollypop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester and needed some support on leash walking, reactivity and becoming a good calm dog when guests came into the home. She is an awesome girl. ❤️❤️
