Together we can work out a style, color, and size for your boo boo. We can then get our needles clicking. All garments are machine washable and can be thrown in the dryer. We're very sad not to be in Rehobeth Beach this weekend for Greyhounds Reach the Beach® but we're there in spirit. Been a very tough year!😴😴 We'll be back next time with a whole new fresh batch of hand knit goodies plus our cooling vests & other goodies. In the meantime, we will knit like fiends to replenish our store, which we will be reopening very soon. Hope everyone & all the hounds are having a ball. Spend spend spend!!! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello or to purchase a cooling coat from us @ The Grapehounds W**e Tour on Saturday. Was such a beautiful day & really lovely to chat with old friends & their gorgeous Greyhounds, Borzoi (Jake ❤), Salukis, Whippets, Iggies & other pups. Soon we will begin the process of knitting masses of new cozy sweaters & hats in all sorts of funky fun colors, so that the next time you see us, we will be well stocked with a fresh look😉Right now we have a bunch of cool vests ready to ship so don't hesitate to get in touch if your dog just wants to 'Chill Out'🔥☀️❄️🐾Till we meet again...❤😊😊

GRAPEHOUNDS 2026 is now well underway @ Catherine Valley W**ery on beautiful Seneca lake.☺🐾 Due to our recent circumstances we won't be there today but will be set up & ready to see you all tomorrow. We're bringing a bunch of cooling coats PLUS our big bucket of ice water to keep those hounds nice 'n' chill. Knitwear this year is limited but custom orders are also a perfect option😉If you have other breeds at home, bring their measurements too & we'll get you all set up. It's taken a couple of weeks to be able to write this post as we recently lost a huuuuuge part of the Couch Potato Collection family & an EXTREMELY important person in our lives. Sadly on July 2nd our knitting wizard/mentor & possibly the wisest woman I've ever known, laid down her knitting needles for the last time after knitting for 91 years😔Emily's precious mum Connie, knitted our greyhound's first sweater, then proceeded to teach us both to knit & voila...our little business was born. She knitted non stop for 13 years for our shop & always produced the most intricate & beautiful little dog sweaters we could have imagined. To say we are lost without her is an understatement but we are determined to keep our store afloat to honor her & to carry on her legacy. Connie celebrated her 99th birthday just weeks ago with delicious chocolate cake & the juiciest cherries. She laughed, smiled & enjoyed every second. That's a memory we will cherish forever. If you're lucky enough to still have your mum or someone as special as Connie then savor every moment & shower them with love😞💔🧶🐾❤

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"Must-have for hot weather! Nobody likes an overcooked noodle, and my greyhound loves wearing this cooling coat. I wet it and put it in the fridge before we go outside, and it seems to be making a big difference."

*Also great for Hunting season in the woods, Fall (as another layer), night walks (reflective striping) & for dog's with hot spots & allergies (cooling helps to calm the skin & the panting)*

It's the lil things that make us happy❤🐾☺

Can't thank everyone enough for stopping by to shop,say hello, take pics & of course for letting us cuddle all your fur babies. We've been working on those custom orders ever since. 🧶🧶Don't want to have to wait a whole year to see you all again so maybe we'll do a little pop up shop in our garden nearer the Fall🤔(if that's something the Doxie peeps would like?!) We'll let you all know in plenty of time, don't worry. Or if you'd like us to do a pop up at your doxie meet up group then please let us know.
