Happy Veterinary Technician Week! 🐾💙

This week, we're celebrating Brittany H., our Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician! Her dedication, compassion, and expertise make a difference for our patients and team every single day.

Brittany started her veterinary career in 2015 as a Veterinary Assistant, then earned her Veterinary Technology degree from GCC in 2018. She joined Midtown Veterinary Hospital later that year and has been a cherished part of the MVH family ever since.

When she's not at work, Brittany loves spending time with her dog, Cosmo, her family, and friends, or curling up with a good book. 📚🐶

Wild mushrooms, acorns, chrysanthemums, autumn crocus, lilies, and moldy walnuts can all be harmful if eaten. Lilies are especially dangerous for cats. If you think your pet ate something toxic, contact us right away.

Meet Dr. Connie Kellogg, DVM! 🐾

For over 17 years, Dr. Kellogg has been caring for cats, dogs, and the people who love them. She earned her biology degree from Keuka College before heading to The Ohio State University for her DVM. What she loves most about her work is building lasting relationships with her patients and their families.

When she's not at the hospital, Dr. Kellogg is usually in the kitchen cooking and baking, or working on her latest craft project, with her two small dogs keeping her company. 🐶 She lives locally with her fiancé and daughter, and she's always excited to meet new clients and patients!

Meet Dr. Joanna Bender, DVM! 🐾

Dr. Bender earned her veterinary degree from Purdue University in 1988 and then completed an internship at Cornell University. She's been caring for the pets of Western New York ever since, and we're lucky to have her serving the Rochester community at Midtown Veterinary Hospital.

At home, Dr. Bender shares her life with Sir Arthur the Shih Tzu and several rescue cats. When she has free time, she loves hiking and backpacking in remote areas, hitting the slopes for some downhill skiing, and spending time with family and close friends. 🐶🐱🏔️
