We have a pair of ferrets ready for adoption. They love to be handled, will come straight up to the cage and door when you walk by, go to get them or do anything in the cage. The black one doesn’t like his head pet and has been known to nibble on beards. Adoption can include 4 tier cage, toys, hammocks and their favorite sleeping spot (a pair of old shorts lol).

Good afternoon Miles Exotic Pet Rescue family. As we as we have come into December a lot of you know we have closed down adoptions per our policy. We believe that animals should not be purchased as gifts for people and kids. In order to keep down unwanted pets and pets being abandoned with in a month we decided not to allow adoption until after January 1st.
So we are reaching out to our community for help with continuing to care for the rescued we already have and rescues that come in over the next month. We are looking for fruits and veggies. You can message us for drop off.

We have 2 normal ball pythons both adults for adoption.

We also have a 4 year old male Great Dane looking for a home. Great with kids and other dogs. Very shy at first.

Full story behind what happened:
It started with a message from a guy who was losing his housing and needed to house about 30-40 animals. This guy being a veteran and Mr. Miles always wanting to be helpful to the community Mr. Miles agreed to house the animals as long as he agreed to help around the rescue and take care of his own animals. We gave him an office and helped him out with a lot of his business. Including giving him free and discounted things like lights, plants, tanks, green houses. With Mr. Miles youngest sister being in the hospital on life support and his other pregnant he was doing a lot of running back and forth handling his family problems. Mr. Miles asked this guy if he could take care of the rescue along with our volunteers and interns. Because this man wasn’t actually taking care of the animals including his, a monitor escaped (his monitor) instead of looking for it he decided to blame us and our teen interns on stealing it along with a gecko. Both which lollipop farm has now. Because of this he decided to tell the building we were renting from that he was living there and renting from us for purposes other than the animals and education. Which is why we were locked out of our facility. During this time we were locked out Mr. Miles was out of town and the rest of the team were told they were not allowed in to get the animals or anything. Mean while as we are locked out there was a break in with things stolen. Come to find out it was the same guy. So yeah after my team being locked out for 2+ weeks the animals were a little messed up. Mr. Miles has no excuse for putting his faith in someone else. Especially a guy who was tried for killing his own dog after admitting it to his therapist. Something he lied about at the time. We do have screenshots of a lot more than just this. These are things that the courts saw and threw the case out.
We are pursuing a lawsuit against this guy and the building.

Yes we are still up and running. We are only opened by appointment for surrenders and adoptions. We will no longer boarder animals and we will no longer be helping anyone. No more. Mr. Miles had always made it clear that we wanted to be the type of rescue that helps the community when they are in need. It was bigger than the animals. We no longer can or will work under that mission. Mr. Miles has been asked a lot of questions over the last few months and has not hesitated to answer them and will continue to answer any questions. Stay tune to some exciting updates and more.

Someone recently broke into our offices. Just so yall know and to give this person the opportunity to turn the stuff they took in. We have cameras, the building has cameras and RPD are our neighbors and they have cameras. You are caught on everyone’s cameras.
