Are you looking for an
EXTRA SPECIAL FELINE COMPANION?! ♥️♥️

These four are on the search for their forever families and they need your help!!

Each kitty has its own “story” and our staff members have been caring for the four of them daily, since they each arrived!! They all visited Purdue a few weeks ago for their vet checks, spay/neuters and whatever eye care they each individually needed! Now they are seeking their forever homes!! ♥️

🐾 Please see comments for a link to each kittens profile! All are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $80 each kitty!

Their intake pictures are sometimes hard to look at. However, seeing them each through the duration of their stay - how they arrived here at FCAC - and how far they’ve come is rewarding! Thanks to the care of our incredible staff and the clinics who help us to help them, they have a chance to go on living a better life!

All four came to us not too far apart in time from one another. None of them are from the same area or are littermates. Just all unfortunate to be born into environments of stray, unvaccinated mother cats and other cats, in various areas.

These four beautiful souls are also exactly perfect examples of WHY we highly recommend spaying and neutering - ANY indoor or outdoor cats you are caring for, feeding and allowing to breed. Kittens do not deserve to endure the sickness and pain of the aftermath of a series of events that are preventable. These four are some of the lucky ones.

Hi, I'm Samson! ❤️

Approx 3 years old | APBT Mix | 70 lbs

I was confiscated from a neglect/hoarding situation with several other dogs, and the people here believe I may be the dad to some of the younger dogs. Unlike many of them, I arrived in much better condition.

Now I'm ready for a fresh start!

🐾 Friendly and affectionate🐾 Calm, well-mannered personality 🐾 Potty trained 🐾 Has lived with other dogs 🐾 Ready to settle into family life

Since I've lived with other dogs before, we think I'll do well with proper introductions! However, I am not a fan of kitties, so I will need a home without them. We expect I'll do well with respectful children.

I do have some skin irritation from the environment I came from, but with time, a healthy diet, and frequent baths, it should clear up in no time! I may also benefit from a quality salmon-based food or a skin and coat supplement to help my skin heal.

Everyone here describes me as a truly well-mannered dog. I keep my kennel clean, enjoy spending time with people, and seem genuinely grateful for every bit of kindness that's shown to me!

I've survived my past. Now I'm ready to discover what it's like to simply be loved. Maybe that future starts with you. ❤️

Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100.

With a little more weight to gain!

I was the first dog brought to the shelter from a neglect/hoarding situation where us dogs often had to compete for things like food and water.

The good news? Those days are finally behind me...❤️

Out of all the dogs from my case, I’m one of the most shy and bashful ones. I seem very leery of men and I may cower down at first, but underneath that is just the sweetest soul! ❤️ Every day, I’m growing a little braver.

Everyone here can’t get over what a beautiful girl I am, both inside and out.

Like many dogs who haven’t had the opportunity to live as family pets, I’ll need a little guidance with potty training and house manners. With a consistent routine, positive reinforcement, and lots of praise, I should catch on very quickly!

🐶 Dogs: I’ve lived with other dogs before and have been friendly with the dogs here at the shelter, so we expect I’ll do well with another dog with proper introductions. Because of what I’ve been through, we’d simply recommend supervising me around food, treats, and other high-value items if there are other pets in the home. After spending so much of my life worrying about basic necessities, I just need a little time to learn that there’s always enough and I’ll never have to worry about going without again.

🐈 Cats: I seem to be cat friendly! I did well meeting the office cat.

👧👶🏼👦 Children: Based on my gentle, sweet nature, we expect I’ll do very well with respectful kiddos.

I’ve already survived the hardest chapter of my life. Now I’m ready for the chapter where I get to be someone’s best friend… where full food bowls, soft beds, kind hands, and unconditional love become my new normal.

I was confiscated from a neglect/hoarding situation with several other dogs.

I'm a bubbly, energetic, happy-go-lucky girl who gets excited to see people and is ready to start living the life I've always deserved!

Because of my past, I'm still learning all about living as a family pet. I'll need a little guidance with potty training and house manners, but with a consistent routine and lots of positive reinforcement, I should catch on quickly! I'm still young, food motivated and eager to learn!

I have lived with other dogs my entire life, so with proper introductions, I should do just fine with another dog. Because I used to have to compete for basic necessities like food and water, it's recommended to supervise me around meals and high-value treats while I learn that there's always enough to go around and I never have to fight for those things again.

I seem to be cat friendly! I met the office cat with polite curiousity and no signs of aggression. I'm expected to do just fine with kiddos, as long as they're respectful!

More than anything, I'm looking for someone who will show me what it's like to be loved, safe, and part of a family. I missed out on so much during the first part of my life... but I have a feeling the best part of my story is still waiting to be written.
