🌊 Bark & Bunk Vacation Notice! 🐾

Bark & Bunk will be closed August 22–29 for our annual family vacation! ❤️

After an incredibly busy summer, I’m so excited to slow down, enjoy some lake time, make memories with the family, and soak up some much-needed downtime before the kids head back to school. This year, they’ll even be missing a little school during our vacation—and I’m completely okay with that! 😉

And now for the drumroll, please… 🥁

Our son got his driver’s license! 🎉🚗

That means our morning schedule is getting a little easier this year. There will only be one 30-minute no-drop-off window in the morning, and there will be no pick-ups or drop-offs before 3:00 PM in the afternoon. We’re excited about how well this will work for our family and Bark & Bunk!

This summer has been a busy one, with surgery recovery, construction, and all the usual Bark & Bunk craziness. I truly appreciate the patience, understanding, and support from all of our amazing canine family members and their pet parents. 🐶❤️

We’ll be back in full swing at home starting Sunday, August 30!

Current Bark & Bunk pet parents, please keep an eye on your email for an important message coming soon. I’ll also be sending text messages to make sure everyone sees the information.

Zena and Brutus are at a kennel for a daycare day before they board there for a week. This is so Brutus knows we will be coming back for him as this will be his first time staying at a kennel. Zena knows the routine but this is new to her as well. 😊

Because of that I think the cats felt the need to be Enzo and Rio's replacement friends for the day. 😻

I want to give a huge shout out to our wonderful neighbor Taylor at Warmhearted Wiggles LLC she has been kind enough to let us use her backyard to help excerise not only our canine family members but also our canine guests, that way the sod can take root in our backyard.

To Links Outdoor Services LLC we absolute love our new concrete stairs, concrete pad between our house & the garage, boulder retaining wall, and fresh sod. Plus you prepped the area for our new patio too! You all did an amazing job and were so great to work with!

My walking and feline friends are wonderful!!

Traveling around Rochester (mostly NW) going on adventures, getting snuggles and doing some indoor play has been amazing this month even with this awful heat!

I have made new friends this year and some have been with me for four years!

Daycare & boarding in July has been looking a little different this year and I have no complaints! 🥰

Most these pups I have had the pleasure of being friends with for over a year, some it's been four years and we just got two new friends Sylvester & Gizmo!

I plan on doing a let's meet my friends post soon, probably in September once the kiddos are back to school. 😁

We have had some construction going on by Links Outdoor Services LLC this month and they did an amazing job!! Definitely reach out to them next year if you have a project. I will post a before and after reel when I can.

Look for another post shortly about my walking friends and kitties. 😁

Starting the week of November 23, my services will be changing to focus primarily on daycare and boarding. 🐾❤️

Here's what that means:

🐶 Daycare Friends: If daycare is full but your canine family member still needs care, I'll be happy to offer a walk instead, when available.

🏡 Boarding Friends: If boarding is full and your pup still needs care, I can provide drop-in visits, when available.

🚗 I'll also continue offering transportation to and from daycare and boarding for your convenience.

Thank you all for trusting me with your amazing canine family members. I truly appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to care for your pups! 🥰
