Meet Shy Star — the sweetest 74-pound cuddle bug you’ve probably never met, but absolutely should. 💛

While other dogs come and go, Shy Star continues to patiently wait for a family of her own. And honestly? This girl deserves her happy ending.

✨ Loves walks and takes neighborhood bunny patrol VERY seriously 🐰 ✨ Enjoys zoomies in the yard followed by quality couch-snuggle time ✨ Big fan of squeaky toys, peanut butter Kongs, and snacks of all kinds ✨ Professional veggie taste-tester 🥕 ✨ Fantastic in the car ✨ Calm, brave, and absolutely wonderful at the vet ✨ Greets her favorite people with full-body wiggles and the happiest tail wags imaginable

Every morning starts with her adorable stretch and sleepy smile before she settles in to wait for whatever adventure the day brings. She's the kind of dog who doesn't ask for much — just love, consistency, and someone to call her own. ❤️

Shy Star can be a little reserved with men at first, but give her a little patience and you'll discover an incredibly loyal, affectionate companion who loves with her whole heart.

Lady is a 2.5-year-old, 52-pound sweetheart looking for her forever home!

Lady was rescued from a difficult situation—dirty, covered in fleas, in heat, and believed to have had puppies in the past. She's been in foster care since May and has blossomed into a happy, healthy girl. ❤️

✨ ABOUT LADY:

🐾 Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped
🩺 Clean bill of health
🎾 LOVES fetch & toys
🌳 Enjoys the backyard and walks
🚗 Great in the car
💤 Loves sleeping, cuddling & being with her people
💕 Thinks she's a lap dog
🧠 Smart, learning quickly & understands "no"
🏠 Alert barks at the door, then settles
🦮 Comes with a harness & leash—she's a strong girl!

Lady is friendly and affectionate with people and loves being wherever her humans are.

🐶 Dogs: Lady can do well with other dogs but needs slow introductions. She may growl or correct a dog that immediately gets in her face. Give her time and space, and taking the dogs for a walk together helps her settle in.

🐱 Cats: She has been around cats and was curious but not aggressive. Interactions were supervised, so slow introductions are recommended.

👧 Kids: Lady is good with children, but she's strong and gets VERY excited when playing with toys. Families with younger kids should be mindful of accidental bumps during play.

We believe Lady may have been used for breeding and wasn't exposed to many of the experiences most dogs have early in life. Despite that, she's made amazing progress in foster care and continues to become more social and confident.

Lady is playful, affectionate, smart, goofy, and ready for the stable, loving home she deserves. 🏡❤️

🌈🐾 REST EASY, P**A — OUR BELOVED CRYPTKEEPER 🐾🌈

Today, we said goodbye to one of the tiniest, spiciest little souls to ever make her way into the Ridge’s Rescue family. 💔

P**a — affectionately known as The Cryptkeeper — joined us on July 8th as a hospice case.

Her little body had been through so much. She was riddled with tumors, we believe she was in congestive heart failure, she was blind, mostly deaf, and had exactly one tooth to her name.

But what P**a lacked in working body parts, she more than made up for in sass. 😂❤️

From the beginning, we knew our time with her would be borrowed. We didn’t know if we would have days, weeks, or months — so we promised to make every single one count.

And P**a did too.

She loved eating. She loved sleeping. She loved meandering around the house at her own pace. And, most of all, she loved being surrounded by her foster siblings. 🐶❤️

For almost two months, this tiny old lady got to simply live.

No expectations. No wondering what tomorrow would bring. Just good food, soft beds, canine friends, comfort, love, and a foster mom who made sure she knew she belonged.

Today, P**a peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge with her foster mom right by her side. 🌈

Hospice fostering is never easy. You open your heart knowing it will eventually break — but because of P**a’s foster mom, she didn't spend her final chapter alone. She spent it as part of a family.

And that is everything.

Run free, sweet Cryptkeeper. 🌈🐾

May there be endless snacks, the softest beds, and absolutely nobody telling you what to do.

You were only ours for a short time, but you were so very loved.

This handsome brindle boy is now 9 months old, approximately 50 lbs, and STILL waiting for his forever family. We truly don't understand how this sweet, goofy guy hasn't been scooped up yet!
