Let’s talk ticks, the nuisance of all dogs.
With temperature starting to warm up, we’ve begun to notice that ticks are coming back out. Once temps start to stay at a consistent 40+ degrees, ticks come out of dormancy to look for an animal to latch on to. But what can you do to help prevent them from sticking?
If you go out on hikes with your dog, it’s important to not only stay on top of your preventative, but spraying your dog down with Wondercide is a fantastic spray to help keep them (mostly) at bay. All of the staff here at Modern love using Wondercide before going out into the woods with our dogs. After you’re done with your hike, definitely be sure to give your dog a quick check to make sure you don’t see any crawling around; in the photo below, you get a better idea of where to focus on. Bathing your dog once you get home can also help make sure those little pests get flushed down the drain.
