Well, this is a picture we all have been waiting to see! Winnie is safe! After well over a month on the run and with the help of angel and persistence of a skilled and determined trapper named MISSY, Winnie is back with us. Our staff and Missy hung out for over three hours waiting for Winnie to finally enter the trap tonight. The number of obstacles that came in our way along the search for her were innumerable. She had been hanging out at the Kalmar landfill and sleeping on a pile of mattresses. There was actually a fire there within the last day, and we were afraid we were going to be back to square one.
But Missy, had been slowly building a “Missy” trap(that is actually what it is called,) was finally able to get the last piece assembled today. And then tonight, boom, Winnie entered the trap. Now, she’s back at our shelter and will be seen by our veterinarian to ensure that she is healthy as well as safe.
We are so grateful to have her safe. Please do not forget that she came from a breeder. She was under socialized and never treated in the manner she deserved. The manner that all dogs deserve.
Thank you, especially to Missy, and to all the people who were out there rooting for her, reporting sightings, and following our directions not to chase her. We are going to rest easy tonight.

It’s been 4 weeks since Winnie has been on the run. Unfortunately, we have not had any sightings of her since last Saturday West of the shelter/Byron area.

If you see her, please call 507-272-2062.

Again, please do not approach or chase her. Even opening a car door scares her. If she would be spotted in a fenced yard by chance, please contain her and call. We have an experienced trapper helping us.

What a year it has been! Thank you to all of you wonderful clients for a great year. It was a trying one for sure but I made it thanks to all of you! Here's to a fabulous, stress-free new year for us all. Wouldn't be possible without ya'll, true friends, and family. Love you all, Lori

The Rochester Grooming Center has been serving our community for 23 years on April 1st, no fooling! 😜

Thank you all for your years of trusting me with your pets. Things may be a little different moving forward, since I now find myself working solo.
I am asking you to be patient, please call far in advance for appointments. Again, I am only 1 person and there are only so many hours in a day. (I am still at the same location with the same phone number & hours of operation)

Once again thank you and I hope to be able to continue serving you and your pets in the future.

*Announcement, please read*
We just wanted to start by Thanking You all for your continued business, support and referrals!! You guys are all so amazing!
That being said, we are filling up very quickly for the Summer. Currently we are beginning to fill some appointments for the last week of June and starting into July! If you are in need of a Grooming appointment for your pet this summer, please look ahead and call us. Keep in mind we are currently booked way out which is AWESOME but some are getting frustrated that we do not have anything sooner available.
We are doing our best to accommodate and do have a cancellation list. The cancellation list is first come first serve. We go down the list and whoever can make it in, gets the appointment.
Another area we need all of your help with is being sure to have your appointment dates and times written down or in your calendar. Unfortunately we are experiencing some issues with “no shows” and that is not only inconvenient for us, but for you guys also because many of you have been waiting for an appointment and this will only push you further back. We do require a MINIMUM of 24 hour notice to cancel. This gives us time to hopefully fill the spot with someone else in need. Obviously, we understand emergencies pop up and are willing to try our best to work with you, just please call us to let us know.
Again thank you to all of you for all your continued business, we really appreciate ALL of you and your wonderful pets!
