Did you know that you can get a title through the NACSW while working your dog at home? 👀

The NACSW offers a Skills Challenge with specific scenarios that you can set up at home or out and about! We offer skills challenge practice to anyone whose dog is confidently searching for scent. 💪
This week was containers with distractors. We had cheese, toys, bread and fruit in different containers as well as three hot boxes.
All 4 dogs did amazing blowing right past (well maybe a few licked the cheese box) 🧀 and alerted to the correct container.
Go to bodyminddog.com to see available class options and to start your scent work journey! If no classes are available, be sure to sign up for our waitlist to be the first to know when new classes drop! ⬇️

What do you do when the weather is bad outside? ☔️
You go inside and practice your containers! 📦
This last drop-in was all about learning how to search the whole area, and move with your dog without accidentally directing them. ⬅️⬆️⬇️➡️
Make sure you check out our drop-in classes! These classes are designed for anyone who has already taken an intro course.

We just started our last Intro to Scent class of the year!👃💨
Introducing Letty, Jack, Rosie, Bear, Blu, and Marley! 🐾🐾🐾🐾 They all did amazing on their first week and we can’t wait to see their progress over the next few sessions. To see these dogs learning how fun scent work can be is incredibly rewarding 🥰

Even trainers need to train! 💪 It’s always fun when you can meet up with other trainers and have them watch your skills to make sure that your own dogs are making progress. 🐾🐾🐾
Thanks to Noseworthy Adventures for letting Chili and I come and practice our vehicles and interiors! 🚗 🏠

Meet Ricky Bobby! A sweet and loving boy who is very nervous of the world and very attached to mom. Watch his confidence grow over the 6 week Intro to Nose Work class! 💪

Week 1: Ricky said no thanks to the game of scent work.

Week 2: We needed a little help from mom to move confidently around the area.

Week 3: Getting much braver and starting to leave mom behind.

Week 4: Lots of new things in our space, but he handled it like a pro!

Week 5: Introducing some puzzles that he was able to problem solve confidently!

Week 6: Ricky Bobby was searching like a pro, with no worries about where mom was. 🤩

Once we figured out what made Ricky Bobby happy (some steak or bacon 🤤) we started making great progress.

If you’re looking for a fun and new way to help your dog’s confidence grow, go to BodyMindDog.com!
