Be smart everyone 🥰 If your pets need to get out of the house, consider your local Home Depot or Lowes. Both are pet friendly, cool and have better air quality than the current outdoor conditions.

EMERGENCY BOIL WATER ADVISORY: (Thursday, July 16 9:44am)
Rochester Hills residents in the northwest portion of our community are under a Boil Water Advisory due to Great Lakes Water Authority experiencing a system failure around 8am today. Residents in the impacted area will experience low pressure until the GLWA system is working properly and we ask you to shut off your irrigation systems and avoid any extra water use. At this time, we do not have an estimated timeframe for when pressure will be restored. We will continue to share updates as they become available. An interactive map can be found in the comments.

We made a law to help animals! 🐾

Friday around 1:30 a.m., our State House passed SB 106, my bill to create Michigan's first pet license plate. The funding generated would help pay for spay/neuter services across the state to stem overpopulation and provide training and support to Michigan’s struggling animal shelters and rescues.

It’s on its way to the Governor’s desk for her signature into law!
