We received a new bird to our flock(rescue) . Her name is Luna and she's a umbrella cockatoo. She's about 12 yrs old they think and has prolapse which is where her intestines/female organs push out their cloaca. Got ahold of our vet to see what they've done for her in the past and find out what is the best treatment for her now. Waiting on his call back but she's an awesome beautiful baby. She let me give her a bath last night to try to clean her up and then snuggled afterwards with me under her towel. She snuggled under my chin tight up against my neck for an hour lol. I asked her if I could give her a bath and she told me she's didn't like that lol but she still let me with TJ's help lol. She's so funny and loving. Thank you Jennifer and Doug for giving her to us.

We would like to thank the staff at Pirates Cove Rrrrv Resort for having us yesterday. Y'all are awesome!! Also we would like to thank all of you for coming out in support of us. I have a correction for the location of our Styx River Parrot Rescue event tomorrow. It's at pirates cove RrrV resort at 20376 Co Rd 24, Foley, AL 36535 not at pirates cove on the beach. Hope y'all can come out and see the birds and see what our mission is all about. Thanks y'all
