We will be doing 1 to 1 1/2 hour tail rides for small groups and lessons and our summer riding programs this summer. We are open for business but it does depend on weather and riding conditions.

This is a about our Half-day Family Fun. We are a small working ranch and we are semi-retired. We love teaching people and especially kids about horses and riding. Our horses are all older and on their 2 or 3 careers. We stress safety at all times. We start with talking a little about horse behavior. We introduce the clients to the horses and have them groom the horses and learn how to lead them and lead them through an obstacle course. We do a saddling demo.
We then get everyone mounted on the horse they will be riding and adjust stirrups. This is followed by basic riding instructions. We will then ride in the arena to build their confidence and then go on a trail ride for 1 to 1 ½ hour trail ride. Or we can stay in the arena and learn the barrel racing and pole bending patterns and some other patterns or games. Can do a shorter trail ride after this.
I can split the group into 2 groups.
Cost $ 100/person, No fee for spectators. Lunch is a sandwich, chips, cookie or fruit and beverage costs $ 15/person. If desired.
