Happy National Veterinary Technician Week to our licensed vet techs! 💙🐾
Our LVTs are the right hand of our doctors, and it shows in everything they do.
They place catheters, monitor anesthesia, run diagnostics, administer treatments, and watch every small change that tells the team what a patient needs next. In an emergency hospital, that skill and judgment can be the difference between a good outcome and a heartbreaking one.
But what makes them extraordinary is how they do it. They are teachers, guiding our assistants and sharing what they know so the whole team grows stronger. They are passionate clinicians who treat every patient like their own, whether it's 2 p.m. or 2 a.m.
Behind every pet who goes home, there is a technician who fought for them. Behind every family who felt cared for on their hardest day, there is a technician who made them feel seen.
To our LVTs: thank you for your expertise, your heart, and the way you lift up everyone around you. We are so grateful for you. 💙
