Here's a little dog history for the countries 250th anniversary.

Drunkard, Madame Moose, Sweet Lips, Taster, Tippler, Venus, and Vulcan.

Would you believe these were some of the names of George Washington’s dogs? It’s true! When it came to pooches, George Washington had a sense of humor – and a tender side, too. He kept many breeds including French hounds, Greyhounds, Dalmatians, Newfoundlands, Briards, and various types of spaniels, terriers, and toys.

Washington is even credited by the American Kennel Club with being one of the people who helped develop the breed known as the American Foxhound. The breed resulted from a mixture of different hounds imported from England and France, with local American stock.

Good morning valued clients!
I would like to start the day by addressing a mass message that went out yesterday to all of our clients.

The message was as follows:

Hello (client),
We are seeing an increase in missed appointments. Please if you need to reschedule or cancel call to inform us as soon as possible. Your timely response helps us efficiently manage our schedule. Providing us with adequate notice of opening appointment times allows us to accommodate urgent or sick pets in your place. We have a missed appointment fee that will be charged for all missed appointments if you do not let us know ahead of time that you will not make it or that your appointment needs to be changed.

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you and your pets soon.

This was a message not targeting specific people just letting all of our clients know the policy for missed appointments as we have seen an increase of this in the past 6 months.

We are hoping that by giving this information we can better serve your needs and allow those with sick pets the availablity to get into the clinic in a timely manner should you be unable to make your scheduled time.

We apologize if anyone thought this was directed at them when they have no missed appointments.

Come on out and have a fantastic day with your family. The Sheep dog demonstration is always one of the highlights on top of meeting the various breeds of sheep and goats. It will also be celebrating the 250th anniversary of our country and the introduction of sheep in our agriculture and the shepherd dogs that helped to herd and protect.
