Schaefer's Miniature American Shepherds, located in North Carolina, is a small hobby breeder that strives to produce quality pups that are structurally correct, have great temperaments and are free from genetic defects. We believe that every dog has something special to offer, be it on the herding field, in the conformation ring, participating in performance events, or as a devoted family member.

We strive to produce pups that are physically and mentally capable of fulfilling their potential. We love dogs that can do any job asked of them and can look good doing it.

wanted to reach out because its hazel’s 2nd birthday! hazey is such a little cuddle bug, seriously follows us around EVERYWHERE, has a huge personality, definitely keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh every single day. she is our very best friend in the whole wide world. we truly cannot imagine our lives without this sweet little baby in it. thank you so much for bringing us together, we’re so lucky to have her đŸ©·

Posted with permission: Asher’s first dock diving lesson. Of course he won’t be jumping off the dock until he’s at least 1. We’ll just be getting him to love the water and working on his swimming speed.
