August 2026 - another major event celebrating the history of Culpeper Minute Men Battalion. Last year was Lafayette's Bicentennial and this time the amazing history of Green's Ri**es with a National polo tournament held on their old r***e range - now Liberty Hall's stadium polo field.

Also - we produced another spectacular souvenir program, commemorating the U.S. Polo Assn. National Commander in Chief tournament as well as America's 250 birthday. Along for the ride this year were historical partners American Battlefield Trust, Virgina250 and America250.

Enjoy flipping through the online version of the program, especially the articles about our 4 Commanders-in-Chief's chosen to represent the teams this year, as well as the story of the Green's Ri**es - more detail on them here - www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Culpeper_Minute_Men

Last Saturday was a big one with two games in two states - but ALSO Kids at the Track!

Liberty Hall Interscholastic riders and parents spent last Saturday at Shenandoah Downs with the Virginia Equine Alliance, arranged by Mike Pearson, for opening day of harness racing, standing in the winner’s circle after Race 1 — named for Liberty Hall — with Tsm Dar Dars Soul and driver Archie Buford, and watching the Legislators Pace with Delegate Phillip Scott and driver Christian Myers on #71 and Delegate Karen Hamilton and driver Lucas Myers on #72, brothers working the same card the way racing families always have

LH kids and families came from Tri County Feeds, Summerduck Run Farm and Double L Farm & Apiary: all of them growing up in Virginia’s horse country, learning that keeping stables of young sport horses full is the foundation under every sport they will ride. The Virginia Equine Alliance is leading the way, supporting the track’s new stabling with a $2 million investment.

Liberty Hall is working toward the same goal by bringing fans to the stands and putting them on the path from admirer to rider, rider to horseman, horseman to owner, owner to maker.

Left Philly to roll into Morven Park for the IPT Crypto Cup. They partnered with the Royal Thai Embassy, Thailand American Assocation and Singha l***r - embassy put on several special performances for a very unique experience.

Zak and Shawn played in the early game and in the main event as Arctic Wolf, narrowly lost to PR Polo 5:7.

We mounted 49 chukkers in a single day! Juno won Best Playing Pony for the Crypto Tournament and Bohica won BPP in Philly early that day - LH Ponies carried the day!

Lots of winners this weekend!

First games of the newly established Blue Ridge Arena league have been played! Seneca Polo Club put on a fabulous tournament as always. Well kept arena and fantastic BBQ. Next meet is hosted by Liberty Hall at the Blue Rock Polo Arena October 24 & 25. Last meet at Roseland Polo November 14 & 15.

Liberty Hall has three teams in, two in the 3 goal and one in the 0 goal.

Oronoma - Nina, Jorge and Alex won the 3 goal consolation. Nina also took home Sportsmanship and Alex horsemanship. Jorge subbed in as 0 goal umpire on the 17 hand horse!

Liberty Hall Red - played well with Dan, Carey and Shawn lost to Burdick Equine and Oronoma though had some big two point shots and is working hard on developing competitive arena skills with new players and horses for the next two meets.

Liberty Hall Black - won the 0 goal with Danny, PePe and Simi/Sarah making a man. The kids did an amazing job working together to overcome two very tough and well coached Garrison Forrest teams. Pepe took home another MVP title, playing the pivotal number 2 position very well.

Players and team can still join - contact LH for the next series!
