FOSTER NEEDED- currently located in Tampa area

This is Ralphie, an 18 month old, 152 lb St Bernard puppy. He’s a very good boy who has been obedience trained, is good with cats, other dogs and children.

His current owner has taken a new job, which requires them to do extensive travel. This has left poor Ralphie in boarding far too often (which is not great for an affectionate saint). They love him enough to want him to be happy and get all of the love and play time that he deserves, so they have made the tough decision to ask us to find a new home for him.

Ralphie is up-to-date on vaccinations and will be neutered by our rescue when he stops growing.

This little cutie is Breeze. She is a fluffy, 10 week old Great Pyrenees/ Karakachan (Bulgarian shepherd) mix puppy. She loves to cuddle, is very playful, spunky, smart and adorable.

Before you apply to adopt her, please do your homework on the 2 breeds. They're wonderful family dogs, but their intelligent, independent personalities and grooming needs aren't for everyone. She will probably be 90+ lbs and her double coat will shed "Breezy glitter" all over the house, year-round.

Our rescue policy is to only adopt puppies out as pets—no "outside dogs" or Livestock Guardian situations will be considered. Adoptive families will be also be required to have a fenced yard, because these breeds can be "Houdinis.” Breeze is up-to-date on age appropriate shots and will be adopted out with a spay contract.

UPDATE: HE IS BACK HOME, SAFE AND SOUND.

FOSTER NEEDED in Florida

We posted about this poor guy last week and still need to find a foster for him ASAP. He is a border collie who we would like to rescue from one of the county animal services offices. We're a foster-based rescue (meaning we do not have a facility), so before we pick him up, we need to make sure he has a soft place to land.

Scout is 2 years old, 43 lbs and is friendly but sad and stressed in the kennel. This is no surprise, because border collies are usually very smart and sensitive. We don't know a lot about him, except that he just lost the only home he's ever known. He needs a calm, quiet foster home where he can de-compress, build confidence and know he's safe. Homes with little humans aren't usually very low-key, so he would probably do best in a foster home with older kids or just adults, initially.

❤️🐾 LUCY IS READY FOR HER FOREVER 🐾❤️

Current Location: Tampa area

Meet Lucy, a beautiful 6½-month-old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix who is sweet, smart, affectionate, and ready to find her forever family.
Lucy gets along wonderfully with the dogs in her foster household and would be especially happy in a home with another playful, active dog to run, play, and explore with. She has also lived with cats in the past.

Lucy LOVES being outside throughout the day, exploring and proudly “patrolling her kingdom.” 👑 And don't worry about missing a package — Lucy will definitely let you know when the Amazon delivery arrives! 😂📦

She also enjoys going for walks and is well behaved and easy to handle on a leash, making her a great companion for outdoor adventures.
When it’s time to settle down, Lucy loves her snuggles and curling up with a stuffed toy to chew on as she falls asleep — sometimes a little too enthusiastically. 😂 She loves her chew toys and already knows two very important words: “cookies” and “no.” 🍪

Lucy is housebroken, but is not currently crate trained. Car rides aren't her favorite yet, so she'll need a patient family willing to help her become more comfortable with them. Lucy is an intelligent young girl who will thrive with someone willing to continue her training and guide her through life with kindness, patience, consistency, and lots of love. She is already a very good girl with all the makings of an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. ❤️

🌸 Meet Magnolia 🌸

Magnolia is a 10 week old Pyrenees/ Karakachan mix puppy, but this girl’s personality is 100% classic Great Pyrenees. She’s inquisitive, confident, independent and definitely not afraid to tell you exactly what she thinks. She can be a little mouthy—both vocally and physically—and she will test her boundaries, but she responds well to positive redirection and genuinely wants to please. She loves her people and needs an adopter who understands strong, intelligent dogs and can provide consistent, loving boundaries. She’s special, and we want an equally special home for her. ❤️

With that being said, please know that, our rescue’s policy is to only adopt puppies out to be family members, not to be outdoor “lawn ornaments” or livestock guardians. Adoptive families will be also be required to have a fence, because these puppies can be "Houdinis," due to the smart and independent traits mentioned above. Willow is a 11 month old female St. Bernard puppy, who's absolutely adorable! She's a sweet girl who gets along with kids, cats and other dogs. She needs a foster or "foster to adopt" home and is currently in the Tampa area.

Willow lost her whole world when her family was suddenly deported from the US. She's all legs and gets the zoomies, so she would love to have a home where people will have time to play and cuddle with her.

This gorgeous girl is a 2.5–3 year old Great Pyrenees looking for her happily ever after. Daisy is the total package: affectionate, gentle, and endlessly sweet, she's the kind of dog who leans into every hug and melts hearts wherever she goes.

Daisy is fantastic with kids and gets along wonderfully with other male dogs — she'd love a home with a canine buddy to keep her company. Please note: Daisy needs to be the only female dog in the home, as she does best without other girls around.

UPDATE: COVE HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Meet Cove (aka Cowboy), one of our adorable Pyrenees/ Karakachan mix puppies! He is 9 weeks old and will be a BIG fluffy boy when he's fully grown (possibly over 150 lb). He is the biggest of the giant puppies in this litter.

Cove is a pretty calm guy for his age. His current hobbies include diving into the dirt holes in the backyard, napping, playing with his siblings and learning new tricks, like going potty outside (he's little, so he'll be working on this for a while).

Before you apply to adopt him, please do your homework on the breeds. They're wonderful family members, who love their people and other animals, but they're not for everyone. They're smart, independent, and double coated, so there will be lots of grooming involved. Since he's a baby, he will also need a family where someone is home for a good bit of the day.

UPDATE... ADOPTION PENDING ❤️

Location: Tampa area

We're primarily a rescue for giant breed dogs, but in the Chaos, we occasionally help out a little dog or two who's in a bad situation. What can we say? We love all of the fuzzy friends.

With that in mind, meet Archie-- a 2.5 yr old mini-aussie with a maxi personality. This little 35 lb guy was scared and miserable in the county shelter and had an incident where he nipped a kennel tech... which quickly landed him on "death row." Our director stepped in and has been fostering and working with him herself for the last few months.

Archie is a nice dog who deserves another chance at being loved. He's very affectionate and snuggly. He likes other dogs who are his size, but can be a bit jealous, so he would do better where he doesn't have to share attention with a big pack.

Because of the nipping incident, his new home should not have small children. We have not tested him with cats.
