🐾 Lady’s Kids - Day 8 🐾

It always amazes me how quickly puppies grow! Just 8 days ago, these little ones entered the world, and already they’re changing before our eyes. Their bodies are getting stronger, their movements are more purposeful, and those adorable newborn curls are becoming more noticeable every day.

Lady continues to be an incredible mom, keeping her babies well-fed, clean, and content. The puppies spend most of their time nursing, sleeping, and growing—which is exactly what they should be doing at this age. Every ounce gained is another step toward becoming confident, healthy companions.

These early days go by so fast, and we’re soaking up every moment. Before we know it, their eyes will begin to open and a whole new stage of development will begin!

🎉 Lady’s Kids Are One Week Old Today! 🎉

It’s hard to believe that Lady’s beautiful litter is already one week old! Over the past seven days, these little ones have spent their time doing exactly what healthy newborn puppies should—eating, sleeping, growing, and snuggling close to Momma.

Lady continues to be an exceptional mother, keeping her babies clean, warm, and well-fed around the clock. The puppies have already started their Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) program and are showing steady weight gains every day. It’s amazing how much they have changed in just one short week!

Their little bodies are getting stronger, and we’re already starting to see those adorable little curls developing. Before long their eyes will begin to open as they start exploring the world around them. Each day brings new milestones, and it’s always exciting to watch their development unfold.

As they grow, they’ll continue through our structured puppy-raising program, including temperament testing, crate training, potty training, grooming introductions, and age-appropriate enrichment experiences. These important foundations help prepare them for success as wonderful family companions, therapy dogs, or service dogs.

For now, life is pretty simple: eat, sleep, cuddle, repeat. ❤️

🐾💕 Lady’s Kids – Day 6 💕🐾

Six days old already! It’s amazing how much these little ones change in just a few short days. Their tummies are full, they’re growing beautifully, and spending most of their time doing what newborn puppies do best—eating, sleeping, and growing!

The puppies continue to gain weight daily and are right on track. They’ve also been participating in their daily Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises since Day 1. These gentle exercises are designed to provide early developmental benefits and are just one of the many ways we invest in giving our puppies the best possible start.

As a reminder, this litter is already fully reserved. If you’re interested in a future puppy, our next litter is expected mid-June.

For now, we’re enjoying these precious newborn days and watching Lady’s little ones grow stronger every day. ❤️🐩

Behind every thriving litter is an incredible momma, and Lady is doing a wonderful job caring for her babies. Nursing a litter is hard work and requires a tremendous amount of energy, so we’re making sure she gets some extra nutritional support to help keep up with the demands of feeding six growing puppies.

In addition to her regular meals, Lady enjoys a daily protein boost of a scrambled egg, ¼ cup of plain yogurt, and ¼ cup of cottage cheese. These extra calories and nutrients help support healthy milk production and keep momma feeling her best.

A happy Momma makes for a happy litter.

🐾 Lady’s Kids – Day 5 🐾

Today was a big milestone for sweet Lady and her little ones. 💕
For the first several days, momma instincts were in full force — she barely wanted to leave her babies for even a moment. But today, Lady finally felt safe enough to step outside, stretch her legs, and go potty while the pups snoozed peacefully together. 🥹

That first relaxed trip outside is always such a good sign. It means momma is settling into her routine, trusting the environment, and feeling confident that her babies are safe and thriving. ❤️

Meanwhile, the puppies continue to grow stronger every single day. Tiny wiggles are turning into determined little crawls, and those full milk bellies keep them happily napping between meals. Their curls are becoming more noticeable already, and it’s amazing how much changes in less than a week!

These babies are being raised with the same dedication we pour into every litter — ENS, careful socialization, temperament evaluation, grooming introduction, crate and potty foundations, and lots of love from day one. 🐩✨

🐾 Lady’s Kids — Day 5 🐾

Five days old already… and somehow they’ve grown even chunkier, stronger, and more opinionated about snack time. 💕 Watching these little ones change day by day never gets old. Their tiny personalities are already beginning to peek through, and Lady continues to be such a calm, attentive mama.

At this stage, the puppies spend most of their time nursing, sleeping, and growing — and that growth happens FAST. Their pigment continues developing, little bodies are filling out, and you’ll notice they’re becoming more coordinated as they scoot around the whelping box looking for mom and warm cuddle piles. 🥰

Even though they’re still tiny babies, we’re already laying the foundation for confident, stable temperaments through early handling and a calm, enriched environment. In the weeks ahead, they’ll begin ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), introduction to grooming, crate training, potty training, and eventually temperament testing to help match each puppy with the perfect family.

These babies are being raised with the goal of becoming exceptional companions, therapy prospects, or service dog candidates — all while staying true to the wonderful intelligence and temperament Standard Poodles are known for. ❤️

🐾 Lady’s Kids – Day 4 🐾

Today was a big milestone day for Lady’s beautiful babies — their very first vet check and dewclaw removal appointment! 💕

At just 4 days old, these little ones are already growing and changing so quickly. Their pigment is coming in beautifully, they’re getting stronger every day, and Lady continues to be an absolutely wonderful mama. 🥰

Many people ask why breeders remove dewclaws, so we wanted to share a little educational info about today’s procedure. Dewclaws are the small “thumb-like” toes located on the inside of a dog’s front legs. In some active dogs, dewclaws can catch on blankets, fencing, grooming equipment, or outdoor debris and potentially tear or injure later in life.

When performed at just a few days old by a veterinarian, dewclaw removal is a very quick procedure and puppies recover incredibly fast. We always want to give our puppies the best possible start and help reduce the risk of future injuries — especially for puppies who may go on to become active companions, therapy dogs, service dogs, or performance dogs. 💙

All babies did wonderfully at their appointment and are back home snuggled up with mama. 🐩✨

Hearing updates like this absolutely makes my day. Merlin is not only stunning, but it sounds like he’s winning hearts everywhere he goes with his sweet temperament and beautiful presence. ❤️

One of the greatest compliments is when people notice not just how gorgeous a dog is — but how wonderfully they carry themselves. That’s exactly what we strive for in our program: intelligent, loving, well-rounded Standard Poodles with exceptional temperaments.

Three days old already… and somehow they’ve already changed so much. Tiny noses are getting darker, little bodies are filling out, and the puppy pile somehow gets cuter by the hour. It never stops amazing me how quickly these babies grow in just a few short days.

Mama Lady is doing an incredible job keeping everyone fed, warm, and squeaky clean. The babies spend most of their time nursing, sleeping, and dreaming their newborn puppy dreams while we continue daily ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) exercises and gentle handling to help build confident, resilient pups from the very beginning.

These sweet little ones will continue to be raised with love and intention — including temperament testing, crate training, potty training foundations, and early grooming introductions as they grow. We’re so excited to watch their personalities begin to shine over the coming weeks.

From tiny newborn wiggles to future companions, therapy prospects, or service dog hopefuls… the journey is just beginning.
