Ye**ty paws? Frito feet? Reoccurring ear infections? A**l gland issues? Hot spots? Excessive shedding? Behavior issues?

Here’s what three decades of studying canine nutrition, health and wellness along with four decades of learning from our canine companions have taught me:
🗝️ We always start with nutrition and gut health. If diet is wrong, you simply cannot access healing on deeper levels.
🗝️ The gut drives behavior. If the gut is suffering, the mind and body are suffering.
🗝️ Detox. When the mind and body are full of toxins, deeper levels of healing cannot be accessed.
🗝️ Movement and connection through obedience, tricks and play get the lymph flowing and open doors to higher levels of healing.
🗝️ Bodywork through acupressure points and meridians as well as energy work begin to release trapped emotions from unprocessed traumas contributing to dis-ease.
🗝️ Looking inward, the mirror. 🪞 Home and family life, the energy and way in which you live with your companion is the final key.

I’m incredibly grateful, both Rey and Angel have no fears or phobias surrounding fireworks and loud booms, neither did Han Solo and Lucius. Growing up at, and training to be Service Dogs at Disneyland may have contributed, however — breeding, genetics, raising, training, temperament and disposition all play a role as well.

Though the booms were non-stop for about two hours, the show in my neighborhood was pretty dismal this year. Usually, my surrounding neighbors put on a spectacular show. This year, not so much. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Here’s the important part…
🗝️ If your companion, regardless of species, has fears and phobias, they may only be suffering because you didn’t know there is a solution.
🗝️ Fears and phobias to fireworks and many other situations can be resolved — completely.
🗝️ Your companions can live a normal, healthy, confident life without fear.
🗝️ You’ve got 11 months until July 4, 2027 — the real question is — are YOU ready to help them resolve fears?

A dog and his girl. ♥️
This Aug ‘19 memory of Han Solo and I hit hard in the feels. Working with him was one of my most favorite things in the whole world. No matter what it was, it was a solid yes from him, he learned super fast, but I’ll let you in on a little secret…

Your dog craves time with you. They thrive on working with you and learning new things. They want to practice obedience and tricks, play games with you and earn treats. You are their whole universe, don’t waste a single day, make it count. 🙌🏼

Want access to my epic list of inside fun? Too hot to train outside but still need help with your companion? Bring me into your living room through scheduling video lessons anywhere in the world!

🗝️ Too hot for your bare feet = too hot for your dog.
🗝️ Too hot for you to wear a hooded sweatshirt = too hot for your dog — they can’t take off their fur coat, nor should they.
🗝️ Bathe / groom / brush them regularly to remove excess coat, please don’t shave them. Their coat offers protection and helps regulate their body temps.
🗝️ Walk early mornings, return before temps reach 72/74°.
🗝️ Walks are better in early morning vs late evening; air quality is cooler and far more healthy.
🗝️ Evening walks and training, avoid temps over 89°. Ideally, temps under 80/85° which can still be far too warm for many dogs.
🗝️ Always choose caution, the risks are never worth it.

While you are waiting for me to put together Part 2 of Hoof to Heal℠ with Angel🪽— please enjoy her shenanigans.

I’ve been keeping a natural yard so she can roam and graze on grass often; though she is terrible at “mowing” it down evenly and edging, she’s not bad at keeping most of the bushes and shrubs in check.

She’s as friendly as can be and would make an excellent store greeter. When Instacart shows up, she’s all too happy to say hello and do a bag check. Both of these are on the same day. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 Carrots 🥕? Apples 🍎? Butterscotch?

Part 1 - Hoof to Heal℠ with Angel🪽
The proof is in the video! After getting her toes done with Rachel (thank you!), I spent time talking to Angel, putting the patches in her new fly mask (thank you, Jen!) where she indicated. The patch, located over her poll elevates the production of *Carnosine* her body already makes.

By elevating carnosine, a dipeptide of beta-alanine (performance) & histidine (repair) you…
🗝️ Improve circulation, heart & muscle repair, healthy muscle contraction, adrenal & thyroid as well as liver & pancreas function, electrical properties of organs, revive mitochondria, protect & lengthen telomeres tied to longevity, slow brain cell death & neural degenerative disorders,
🗝️ Enhance strength, stamina, endurance, flexibility, balance, lower lactic acid buildup,
🗝️ Support memory & cognitive function, focus, alertness, helps prevent mental decline & visual degeneration, protects brain & nerve cells, enhances areas of the brain responsible for hearing, speech & movement,
🗝️ Powerful antioxidant & heavy metal scavenger, prevents / reverses damage done by AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products) created in your brain by sugars binding to amino acids affecting word recall, response time & cognition.
🗝️ Accelerates wound healing & tissue repair, burns, bruises, clots, lumps/bumps & lacerations, clears toxins.

With animal communication & applied kinesiology she tells me where to put each patch, affecting acupoints such as:

🗝️ GV20 (Governing Vessel) Clears the brain, calms the spirit, revives consciousness, benefits seizures, shock, neck stiffness.
🗝️ Yin Tang (Hall of Impression) Between eyebrows, calms mind, relieves stress, clears nasal blockages, benefits insomnia, anxiety, tension headaches.
🗝️ GB20 (Gall Bladder) Benefits cervical issues, seizures, eye disorders.
🗝️ BL10 (Bladder Meridian) Clears Heat, benefits eyes, nasal congestion, neck stiffness.

While dog trainers are currently battling over the four quadrants of behavior defined by B.F. Skinner, I’m concerned about…

Often I see videos on social media of horses learning not to fear tarps. Many horses require quite a bit of training to get them past this sort of fear.

In the meantime, I’m feeling incredibly blessed that Angel not only shows no fear of them, she has no problem manipulating them all by herself. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Last night this tarp was spread out with three flakes of hay and a bunch of loose hay all over the place. This morning, loose hay and garage 99% cleaned up 🧹 along with her tarp “neatly folded” by the Queen 👑 herself. 🙌🏼

Looking for barn help? Angel is available! Fee starts at $25hr + 🥕 tax & butterscotch candy 🍬 bonus.

In case you may not know, your animal companions need not fear fireworks 🎆. There is a remedy for this. Drugs temporarily sedate, but do not cure. This type of fear can be completely resolved. Let’s talk.

It’s that time of the year when things go BOOM!
Please don’t panic; I’ve got you with a super special offer.
If you didn’t know, anxiety, fears and phobias can be relieved, resolved and healed completely.

Reiki, which translates to ‘universal life force energy,’ helps the nervous system switch from the sympathetic nervous system (fight, flight, freeze) and into the parasympathetic nervous system (rest, digest, recover) reducing adrenaline, cortisol and inflammation allowing the immune system to function at its highest healing and restorative level. Reiki energy can be transmitted in person or remotely (at a distance) offering full systemic support at the physical, mental, emotional and soul level creating a calmness that helps navigate all life challenges.

Connecting with your companion allows me to open a channel of communication in which I can receive the answers to your questions word-for-word, as well as feelings, emotions and images. This allows me to understand the traumas they may have experienced, what they are feeling and thinking as well as what they need in order to heal or resolve the issues they are struggling with. Combined with a lifetime’s experience as a dog trainer and behavior specialist with the optional use of homeopathy, herbs, essential oils and phototherapy (light therapy) I can create a plan with your companion to help reduce the amount of anxiety and fear they experience in addition to helping them overcome and heal completely.

I work with all animals as well as their people with chronic illness and veterans with PTSD.
Appointments available July 1st - 4th.
1hr - Remote Session $250
2hr - In person w/Red Light, Trauma Release and Bodywork $375
Please reach out to me through FB or IG messages.

And Loki?

Every dog deserves a second chance. With — or without— your guidance, your dog is learning 24hrs a day. Being proactive in their training not only prevents problems, but also offers excellent mental and physical fulfillment, creates clear communication and offers a strong foundation.

Training nurtures confidence and predictability as well as a calm, well-mannered companion, enhancing your relationship and ending everyday canine challenges. Training is the gift that keeps on giving throughout their lifetime and yours.

Heel to Heal program offers
🗝️on-leash obedience,
🗝️ home manners, safe management techniques, problem solving,
🗝️ canine nutrition, health and wellness, trauma release, energy and bodywork, as well as animal communication.
