‼️UPDATE! ADOPTED! ‼️ Everyone meet Dumbo! 🥰 Dumbo is a 3 year old neutered Frenchie that is available for adoption! Dumbo is potty trained, leash broke and crate trained. He's friendly with dogs and cats. He loves squeaky toys but will tear them up if unattended! Enjoys running around and being chased by other dogs as well as sunbathing. He needs daily medication for his allergies and dry eye which he's really good about. Please contact us for more information on the adoption process and any other questions you may have about wonderful Dumbo 🤩 Dede's Angels - My Father's Business Greenville

Ask the vet Q&A is finally here! 🤩 Our question involves gastric dilation and volvulus aka GDV. GDV is a life threatening condition that our deep chested dogs can get (i.e. Great Danes, Dobermans, Golden retrievers, etc). Does a gastropexy help? 🤔 Check out what the vets have to say! If you have any further questions, drop them in the comments!

Our case this week is about bladder stones! 🩺 There are several different types of stones; some that are calcium based and others that are not. The most common ones are struvite and calcium oxalate. A urinalysis is useful in detecting small crystals before they become larger stones, these are found through X-rays. Removal through surgery is recommended especially if your pet is having difficulty urinating or chronic UTIs, as it can act like a sponge, holding on to bacteria. 🦠 Can you spot the stones in this patient? 👀 Swipe to see if you were right!
