Education is so important. This last weekend Deirdre Maureen Dawson and I took a bunch of wire coated terriers up to a seminar at Ann Martin salon by Devon Allen . Everyone learned so much and we all had a great time! Thanks to all that came out and thanks to Ann and Devon for hosting such an amazing learning experience. Handstripping is a dying art and people do not realize how important it is for your wire haired dogs skin and coats. We had the opportunity to provide and work on many dogs such as Cairn terriers, Lakeland terriers, Airedale Terriers. We saw some schnauzers, mixes breeds, westies and even an old wire fox lady.

Bennifer giving his daddy a run for his money this weekend and feeling so much camaraderie was a highlight this weekend. Special thank you to OATS for hosting a wonderful banquet. It was so nice seeing new and old friends. This has become a favorite and very special show for me and I hope to continue to make it to this one every year. I also wish most of us lived closer together.

Sadly I didnt take any pictures from woofstock this year but this picture of Bennie in the Airedale pose will have to do. He showed his heart out and took a select seat under his daddy both days, earning himself 3 more points toward his grand championship. It was a fun filled weekend. Thank you to judges Mrs. Peggy Browne and Mr. Philip Freilich for the honors.

I am a tad behind on posting miss Boozy, she has been showing so well lately! She won some big classes at woofstock, even taking reserve winners. In oregon she showed beautifully taking a first in her class on Sunday. We are still working on her maturing and growing some coat, but she already thinks shes a champion! Thank you to the judges that are seeing her potential!
