Welcome Pumpkin (formally Star) to Good Karma! We know this little girl looks cute and cuddly and has had a lot of interest since the post looking for help for her owner who needed to surrender her. She is NOT ready for adoption at this time and we will not be reviewing/processing applications.

As the original post indicated — She is extremely undersocialized and frightened of everything. We will not risk her reacting in fear by pushing her too quickly. At this time she is decompressing in her foster home, learning to trust her foster mom and her fur siblings. She is also being treated for parasites.

Until she is medically cleared and has time to adjust, she will remain in foster. We will post updates on her progress and provide our thoughts on what the best home / family would be for her as we get to know her and as she becomes more confident.

We have some truly amazing dogs waiting for the day when someone looks at their picture and says, “That’s my dog!”

Some are silly. Some are snuggly. Some are adventurous. Some need a little extra patience. Some want a canine sibling, while others would rather have all the attention to themselves. But every single one of them has one thing in common: they deserve a family of their own.

Ella, Delilah & Fern — Our adorable 3-month-old German Shepherd mix girls are each developing their own personalities and are ready to grow up with families of their own.

Hunny — 2½ years old, dog and people friendly, house and crate trained, playful, and always ready for toys, swimming and fun.

Sally — Our gorgeous 1-year-old brindle girl is energetic, eager to please and completely obsessed with toys—especially tennis balls. Once playtime is over, she turns into one serious snuggle buddy.

Lola — Four years old and basically pure happiness wrapped in fur. She loves other dogs, absolutely adores people, walks beautifully on leash and has LOTS of cuddles to give.

UPDATE: All 3 girls are now pending adoption.

We received a request from a Good Samaritan for help with a litter rescued from a poor situation. How could we say no to these adorable faces??

Ella , Delilah and Fern are about 2.5 mos old (DOB 7/10) and have started all of their core puppy vaccines, been dewormed and are now on monthly preventatives. They will receive their first booster soon and can start meeting potential families.

The girls are currently between 13-14lbs. Ella and Delilah are a little more shy but warm up quickly, especially for snuggles. All are currently in foster with other dogs and doing amazing playing with their new friends. Each is also currently working on crate and house training.

Ella is currently in River Vale and Delilah & Fern are in West Deptford/So Philly area.

UPDATE: Pending adoption.

We would like to officially welcome Digby to the rescue! Digby was dropped at a local shelter at just 6wks old when the backyard breeders couldn’t sell him. He settled in just fine with all of his foster siblings. He is just about ready to start interviews for a forever family — he’s scheduled for his first puppy vax booster next week. He’s very young so still working on potty training. He naps quietly in his crate through the day and overnight. He’s currently entering his baby shark phase… so we are learning to redirect those little teeth to more appropriate items.

He is a total cuddle bug and loves to nap with any person — he doesn’t play favorites.

We need help!! Adoptions are at a stand still which means no funds coming in... but dogs still need to be fed, cared for, entertained.... Plus we still have over $6k to payoff for previous medical expenses which exceeds what we have in the bank.

Hunny - With us since 4/11/25. But ALL of her babies were scooped up immediately over a year ago....

Sally - With us since 10/13/25 when she was only 3-4 mos old. She turned 1 in June.

Lola - With us since 3/17/26.

And now we have Digby, who is not yet available since he is too young and only received his first set of puppy vaccines today. We will post updates on him once he's ready to start taking applications.

Someone must want a tennis ball obsessed little girl….sally will do this ALL. DAY. LONG. She does catch it occasionally but that doesn’t matter to her as long as you keep tossing it for her. She’s getting better at leaving it but will also attempt to play tug with it.

This little beauty has been with us since she was 3-4 mos old. She turned one in June… She is about 45lbs, house broken, crate trained, spayed, current on vaccinations and preventatives… looooves to cuddle and is so very soft.

She is dog selective but when she finds a dog she likes….she is their best friend. So she would need to either be an only or with someone that will take things slow for her. She is also better suited for older kids since she is very active.
