Introducing SRF Fleur De La Coeur!

Fleur is one of those foals who was never supposed to stay, but it didn’t take long for her to change our minds.

Originally bred as a foal to sell, Fleur quickly won the hearts of everyone at Scenic River Farms. Her exceptional temperament, intelligence, athleticism, and presence made her far too special to let go, and she has officially earned her place as a keeper.

Fleur is by Candoit’s Fabuleux Coeur OLD, by He’s Furst Jazz x Sandro Hit. A former PSI Auction horse, Candoit’s Fabuleux Coeur was the winner of the 5-Year-Old Bundeschampionate in Germany, later becoming the #1 ranked 6-year-old in the United States and representing the USA at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses.

Out of our mare Le Petit E’Cureuil (Gem), Fleur brings together a pedigree we are incredibly excited about with the qualities we hope to develop in the next generation at Scenic River Farms.

At the recent Westfalen inspection, Fleur was awarded Premium Foal with an overall score of 7.7.

We have very high hopes for this talented young mare. She is athletic, intelligent, incredibly sweet, and already showing us so much potential. We can’t wait to watch Fleur develop and see what the future holds for her.

A few of our dressage training horses, along with our pony stallion, Moo, have officially moved onto the farm and are settling into their new routines.

A special welcome to Pandora, Elite FL (aka Ziva), Rosebank (aka Nova), Smoke Tree (J) Heir (aka Moo), and Crestone Clover (aka Bud)!

Each horse is at a different point in their dressage journey. Some are established training horses, while others are younger prospects with plenty of development ahead of them. We’re excited to have them all on site and look forward to continuing their training, developing their potential, and sharing more of their progress while in training with Bridget Bursey along the way!

It was a special day for our farm as we presented our 2026 mares and foals, with all four foals earning Premium scores and Forty Creek (aka Stella) earning Site Champion.

We are incredibly proud of these young horses and grateful to everyone who helped make the day such a success. There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes to prepare for an inspection like this, and we are so thankful for the people who showed up and made it happen.

And, of course, a huge thank you to Otto Schalter and Ann Daum for traveling to Scenic River Farms and making our second Westfalen inspection such a wonderful experience.

CeCe is taking the next step in her training with Leah Witt and is beginning her canter work!

A big thank you to Meghan Downing at MidWest Saddle Fit and Nexus Saddlery for helping us get her set up in a saddle that fits her beautifully as she moves into this next stage of training.

We’re looking forward to watching this young mare continue to develop.

We’re excited to welcome Daryl Kinney Eventing back to Scenic River Farms this fall for two clinic weekends!

It’s time to get registered for our upcoming clinics with Daryl Kinney Eventing at Scenic River Farms and Z's Cross Country Course !

We’ve just added a September 19–20th clinic, and registration is open for the October 10–11th clinic as well.

Daryl brings a thoughtful, systematic approach to training with an emphasis on education, confidence, and producing horses and riders who understand the “why” behind their work. Her clinics are designed to give riders practical tools and those valuable a-ha moments they can take home and continue working on.

Day 1 was a success for Rosebank (aka Nova)!

Nova earned her final First Level qualifying score for Regionals! We are so proud of this mare and all the work she and Bridget Bursey have put in to get here.
