This year we put something a little different together for our horse and rider introductions. As we all know, our horses have their own unique personalities, so we decided to celebrate those with some whimsical Dr. Seuss inspired descriptions. In honor of these two competing at Youth Show this weekend, it seemed only fitting that we start with Nora Butler/HB Ima Sapphire (Sally) and Baylee Bales/Laced To Impress (Sam I Am). We will be sharing all of our teams over the next few weeks as we progress through show season! Credit to at Twisted A Marketing for putting these together!

We have been in the middle of a horse showing marathon and our group did not disappoint!

Our first stop was OPHC to hit some of the all breed classes:

This big, fancy 2yo made the trip to start learning about horse show life. She made herself at home and didn’t miss a beat! We are excited to have her hauling with us this year and eventually showing!

We got a couple horses out this weekend for their first show of the year. Madi and Benny had a fabulous outing! It was their first show with our program and only Benny’s second time showing. They ended up receiving a call back in their $100 Open Pleasure class (western and English combined) and placed 6th in the final go. They also tackled Benny’s first equitation class, placing 2nd in the $100 Open Equitation. We are so excited for the future of this team and can’t wait to watch them continue to grow!

What do you do when it has been a solid week of crazy cold weather? You get your steps in hand walking horses and practicing showmanship! Then when the babysitter gelding gets bored with hand walking, you hop on him in his blankets and go for a “spin”💙

We are so excited to welcome Waitin Forthe Prize to our show string for owner Patricia Wentz! This big fancy girl will be started under saddle for the hunter under saddle futurity events. We can’t wait to see what this team will accomplish together!
