Frieda and Reilly both came in for some TLC today! 🛁✂️

Frieda is our spicy little fan favorite 🌶️😂 She always keeps us on our toes, but we sure do love her sassy personality!

And sweet Reilly reminded us of something that’s really important in grooming: sometimes completing a groom safely means knowing when to stop. ❤️ Every dog has their own limits, and their comfort and safety will always come before making everything “perfect.” We’ll take what we can safely do, celebrate the progress, and make sure they leave feeling good about their experience. 🐾

Everyone clap at Fifi! She is affectionately called Hannibal Fi around these parts but now she’s just good girl Fi 🐾💕
Bunny is an angel from Jesus (always has been and always will be)
And as a bonus I got to see my favorite man Mitch and my best friend Lindsay!

Yesterday Cherokee came in for the ✨Father-in-Law Special✨… and I finally got to break out my brand new skunk shampoo 🦨

(Don’t ask me what the Father-in-Law Special is because I literally just made it up)

Cherokee has a habit of going head-to-head with any critter that crosses his path, and this time… the skunk won.

After a good scrub (or three), he’s back to smelling like a respectable dog instead of a chemical weapon.

Final score:
🦨 Skunk: 1
🐶 Cherokee: 0
📚 Lessons learned: ….. also 0.

Last weeks puppies (that I remembered to take a picture of)

✂️ 2 poodles
✂️ 2 little dogs with big opinions
✂️ And one ABSOLUTE UNIT of a St. Bernard who was approximately the size of a compact SUV.

Somehow everyone behaved, nobody filed a complaint with HR, nobody bit me, and I still have most of my back function.

Before anyone asks—which one was my favorite?

Yes.

Every single one of them. I fall in love with every dog that walks through my door, and last week was no exception. ❤️🐾

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go peel dog hair out of places dog hair should never be.

Here’s the thing about putting bows on dogs. I love it. You love it. They love it (probably) the only thing I love more than cute dogs is putting cute bows on them.
And before anyone says, “My dog is a boy”…
I do not care.
Your boy is beautiful. Your boy deserves a bow. Your boy deserves to be celebrated. Your boy deserves to walk out of my salon looking like the tiny, handsome, over-accessorized king that he is.
Bows make everything better. Bows make dogs cuter. Bows make grooming photos better. Bows make ME happier.
Honestly, if I could put a bow on every single living thing I encountered throughout the day, I probably would.

Anyway, bring me your dogs. I have bows. 🎀🐾💕
