Box P Performance Horses and Training

💥SNEAK PEEK💥 Phoenix is a 7 year old mare that we bought from Broken Heart Ranch as a Weanling. She graduated from our program and we sold her locally to good friends of ours. Life has been so busy with their kids being in sports that they asked us to find her a good home. She is back in training with us for barrels, heeling and breakaway. Keep an eye out for this pretty mare!

Such a great group of ladies that we have had spending time with us at Box P! Britt, Lexi, Britta, and Amanda have been regulars in our arena this summer. It’s been fun!

In the past 2 weeks Skye has been in the top of the 2D three times in the outdoor pens and cruised a 22 second pole run for only her 3 entry and first one this year. In the past 2 weeks she has won just over $600! She is going to be a fun one for someone!

UPDATE: Clinic is full but taking a couple for wait list in case someone cannot make it.
🤔 Did you know that along with Team roping and barrel lessons, we (Todd) does breakaway lessons? They have started being a big part of our program and we (Todd) is offering a 2 day clinic. This clinic will be most beneficial for the following:

*Horses needed started on the sled that are used to a rope
*Horses needing box work and need to start tracking cattle
*Beginner breakaway ropers that are comfortable on their horse and with a rope but need some help with their swing
*Seasoned ropers who have a greener horse that needs more reps and sled work.
*Horsemanship skills to knock time off your runs

We will offer:
*morning/afternoon session with lunch provided
*dummy work
*sled work
*live cattle work (slow steers for tracking/faster calves)

Dates: Aug 22-23 (subject to change with conflict)
Time: 9-3
Cost: $275 with lunch provided

We would like to limit this to 6 ropers. You are welcome to bring multiple horses. We have a couple spots to plug in if you are coming from out of town.

*if you are not sure if this clinic is a good fit, feel free to reach out for more information. If you are wanting to start breakawaying and want private lessons, please reach out.

The barrel race was cancelled today but our arena worked up great. Decided to breeze Skye through some poles. Skye is a 6 year old red roan mare that is now available. 3D barrels with 200+ entries just cruising and ready to enter in poles. She’s FUN!
