We are currently hiring for a part-time Kennel/Veterinary Assistant position that could transition into a full-time position depending on performance.
Kennel Assistants are required to be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and most weekend and holiday availability is necessary.
Kennel Assistants take care of animals by providing food and water, letting the dogs out at least twice daily, recording the animals' daily activities, keeping a clean and sanitary kennel area, and helping restrain animals for the Veterinarian to examine.
Other tasks include cleaning equipment, handling, weighing, and bathing animals, and reporting any health issues with the patients to the treatment staff.
Safety is our main goal at Animal Care Hospital. Everything we do must be for the safety of the animal and our staff.

-Confident/Competent animal handling skills.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks based on needs.
-Good organizational skills.
-Technical know-how in areas such as disinfection and sanitation.
