Greetings, Rio Verde Saddle Club!

Hope your summer has been going well and you're looking forward to your ponies coming to their winter home at the Rio Verde Saddle Club this fall. Your caretakers will be returning to the barn to set up and receive horses on the afternoon/evening of October 15th, weather permitting (if it snows up here, probably sooner than that!)

We'll be posting more often as time draws nearer to opening of our 2026/27 season (November 1st). If you want to reserve a particular stall early for your horse(s), let us know!

"So long; farewell; Alveterzane; adieu ... to you, and you, and you and you and you ... "
Yes, indeed, it is end of the season and we're winding down; horses are headed to their summer pastures and looking forward to cooler days.

We had a great time at our "Farewell Party" with some really great food and the best people around. Ingrid A. was gifted unlimited use of the "RVSC Cowboy Limo" for the summer, and John W. won the coveted "Master Mucker" award for the 2025-26 season. Good luck next year to those of you who worked hard toward that goal!

Our intrepid Activity Director, Carol E., received a special "thank you" of a glass cutting board with horses crossing the river. We wouldn't have nearly so much fun without her fun events!

See you all next year! If you want to join in the fun with your horse, we will have paddocks available next season (November 1 through April 30, 2027).

We had a great time at the RVSC breakfast ride this past Saturday! A beautiful morning, great horses and a fantastic breakfast to top it all off!

We had a great time at our Poker Ride and barbeque on Saturday. Who could ever think three 3's would be the high hand?!!
