Job Description
The applicant must be attentive to detail and will be responsible for cleaning rodent bins and feeding rodents, and feeder bugs along with keeping the workspace clean daily. The applicant must be comfortable around and should have experience in handling and caring for mice, rats, bugs (Dubia roaches, worms, etc.). Applicant will also be carrying 50 lbs. bags of rodent food and shavings. Applicant must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. or more. Applicant must have reliable transportation and be reliable.

The responsibilities for this position are:

1. Responsible for the care and husbandry of a rodent colony.
2. Cleaning and disinfecting cages
3. Feeding and watering feeder bugs
4. Packing/Unpacking feeder bugs/rodents
5. Lifting 50 lbs. bags of rodent food and shavings
6. Keeping workspace/facility clean

And can also consist of:

7. Labeling packages
8. Delivering orders

Qualifications and skills required:

1. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. or more
2. Must be comfortable around mice, rats, and insects.
3. Must have reliable transportation, be reliable, and punctual
4. Must have a positive attitude and the ability to get along with others
5. Must be willing to follow instructions
6. Must be able to work in a fast pace atmosphere

The starting hourly pay is $14 with the opportunity for raise in 3 months. The weekly
work hours are 24-40 hours and the workdays are Monday-Friday from 8AM to 5PM.
