Mystic River Lavender Mystic River Lavender, a lavender farm based in the beautiful New River Valley of Southwest Virginia

Upon retiring from the corporate world, Janice and Keith Mileski fell in love with herbs and succumbed to the lure of lavender. The farm was started in 2008 and concentrated on herbs and, of course, lavender. As plantings grew, Janice applied her interest in the benefits of lavender with Keith's knowledge of chemistry to craft a line of superb body care products which include lotions, creams, sprays, soaps, dog care, etc. With amazing vistas, their location includes a serene setting to walk through their lavender fields.

We had a local photographer came out the other night to try and take pictures of fire flies in and around our Lavender plants. Unfortunately there was not that many, but in the pictures you can see the bright yellow lines which are the lighting bugs. Wish more had been out, but still thought it was interesting.

This past weekend was not a good opportunity for you to cut a fresh Lavender bouquet with the possibility of severe storms and actual rain fall. We certainly appreciate those that did come and endured the weather.
We will be open again this weekend 7/4 and 7/5.
Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 11-5 (note time change) Starting an hour earlier due to the heat.
Still have plenty of Lavender to cut, so come out and enjoy the beauty and fragrance of fresh Lavender. This will be the last weekend.
Hope you can visit.
