💙 The Next Ryder Is Counting On Us!💙

Meet Ryder.

When Ryder came into our rescue, he had already survived more than any dog should ever have to endure. He was intentionally run over by his owner, suffering fractured ribs, severe infections, Lyme disease, and unimaginable pain.

But Ryder's journey wasn't over.

He also tested positive for heartworm disease—a condition that is entirely preventable but costly and time-consuming to treat.

Nearly a year later, Ryder is still undergoing treatment, and we're hoping his next test in July will finally bring the news we've been waiting for: HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!

Friday, we were blessed to be invited to English Meadows - Blacksburg Campus to spend the afternoon with the wonderful seniors who call it home.

Not only was it a beautiful day, but we had the opportunity to gather outside on their gorgeous patio alongside residents, family members, and staff. There was no shortage of smiles, laughter, and puppy kisses as our dogs soaked up all the love and attention.

These visits are always a special reminder of the incredible bond between people and pets. The joy our dogs bring to others is truly priceless, and watching the residents light up as they interacted with them was the highlight of our day.

A huge thank you to everyone at English Meadows for welcoming us so warmly. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our dogs, our mission, and a little happiness with your community. We can't wait to visit again! ❤️🐾
