Valley Veterinary Hospital-CO

Valley Veterinary Hospital-CO We strive to provide excellent primary veterinary care for cats and dogs in the Rifle area! 🐾 We accept CareCredit.

We are a full-service veterinary hospital serving residents of Rifle, Silt, New Castle, and Parachute. Diagnostic Services:

Our in-house laboratory and digital radiology allow for complete blood testing and state of the art x-rays, enabling us to diagnose and monitor many medical conditions. We also have the ability to do complete urinalysis and parasite testing. We work closely with outside lab

oratories to conduct specialized diagnostic testing when necessary. Surgery and Anesthesia:

We offer a wide array of surgical services including ovariohysterectomies (spays), neuters, laceration repairs, mass removals, amputations, and more. All surgery patients receive intravenous fluids and are monitored with equipment such as an ECG machine, blood oxygenation level monitors, and a blood pressure monitor. Wellness & Preventive Health Care:

Our doctors are passionate about keeping your pets healthy from the very beginning with effective preventative medicine. This refers to all the things necessary to PREVENT disease, or catch it in the early stage. Examples are bringing your pets in for routine wellness exams (annually), keeping them up to date on vaccinations, conducting flea, tick, and heartworm testing and using parasite prevention, and performing routine f***l testing and deworming. Dentistry:

Pet dental health is extremely important! Just like humans, pets need routine professional dental care. All of our dental cleanings are done with your pet under anesthesia so that our doctors can safely and accurately treat the entire mouth. Calcified dental tartar can only be removed with an ultrasonic scaler. All of our dental patients also receive dental x-rays to allow for a full examination of the teeth. We are able to provide ultrasonic cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, and tooth extractions when indicated. Referral Services:

There are many specialists now, just as in human medicine. We utilize these resources whenever necessary to provide the best possible care for your pet. Please visit our website for more information on our referral specialists.
