This month is domestic violence awareness. A lot of women stay because they have no way to take their pets with them if they leave.

Many shelters do not accept pets and the thought of leaving them behind is too much for victims to actually get out.

There is a high incidence of Animal abuse alongside domestic violence. More needs to be done to allow people to bring their pets with them.

During October if you can please donate to your local domestic violence shelter. 🐶🐈‍⬛💜
