What a gorgeous day to visit the farmstand today! We’re open 11-2. Pick up something to throw on the barbecue. We’re thinking lamb burgers in our home today! Also for all of you fiber folks, we have lots of new yarns fresh from our dye pots. Come on over!

If I had to say why this is the best job ever it would be because you get to witness the miracles of nature every. single. day. You are part of the web of agriculture sustaining our local communities. Our Chicken CSAs are now open for signing up! We are offering 6 pickup locations: and our two farm stands (LaGrangeville, NY and Ridgefield, CT). The CSAs are starting a little later than previous years as the winter was so long that pastures were really not ready for foraging as early as last year. It is so important for our birds to be foraging on such biologically active soils. Head over to our food ordering website to secure your chicken share for the season.

It is finally time, the seasons have shifted and our summer markets are beginning this week! We will be at opening day of the Westport Farmer’s Market. Will you? It’s the 20th anniversary! This is a special community of passionate, authentic humans united by delicious food and a sense of environmental and civic responsibility. Let’s celebrate together. Good times and good flavors. We are hiring for several positions (farm crew, farm coordinator and market workers) in our Ridgefield and Lagrangeville locations. Our farm crew position will be spearheading most of the poultry work but will definitely be involved in sheep and pig pasture management and as we transition to fall the job will become more focused in these areas and less in poultry. This is a vibrant time of year to join the farm team. Have a look at the job listings and share with anyone you think might be a good fit!
