Rescues come in all shapes and sizes around here!

Last night, two of our volunteers were cleaning up after our indoor animals when they were alerted to a different kind of critter in need. Upon further investigation, they discovered a spicy snapping turtle in our parking lot. Since we are located on a busy road, our volunteers knew they had to step in to keep this gal safe! She was not letting anyone behind her to pick her up properly, so shovels were the next best option. She made sure to thank us with a steely glare before returning to the water of the flooded field next door.

It is essential that you provide two reliable contact numbers and remain available at those numbers so we can reach you as quickly as possible. Once it is safe to do so, our team will begin working to evacuate the animals and initiate the reunification process.

Please be patient and understand that we may not be able to accommodate all requests, as the safety of everyone involved remains our priority.

After you submit the form, someone from our team will contact you with information regarding your animal’s placement and the next steps in the reunification process. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this difficult time.

Update! I am now collaborating with Styles N Smiles Grooming LLC. She will be accepting donations at her pet salon as well. The address will be posted below.

My heart is heavy tonight for our entire community in the flooded areas in Wayne County and surrounding counties.
I'd like to setup a Pet Food Donation for families that have been evacuated and have pets.
We also have a bunch of pet beds we can donate.

We have the treats covered as well!

Please help me get this information out there and tag anyone that can guide me to the right people to get all of this delivered to.
I'm sure not having to worry about pet food or a soft pet bed, would be a huge weight off their shoulders.

💩 WE ARE RUNNING LOW ON CAT LITTER. 💩

Yes. The cats have spoken.

And apparently their demands are:
✔️ Clean litter boxes
✔️ Fresh litter
✔️ Absolutely NO negotiating
✔️ Someone else scoops the p**p. 😹

Our rescue goes through a LOT of litter because our residents are experts at turning perfectly good litter into… well… evidence. 😂

So today we’re asking our amazing supporters:
