The #1 reaction I get when people finally realize what beef tripe actually is:

“🤢 I could never.”

And honestly… I get it 😂

A big piece of beef tripe sitting on my cutting board does not exactly scream “delicious snack” to most humans.

But dogs? Cats?

They don’t care if it’s pretty.
They don’t need it shaped like a cookie.
They don’t need artificial bacon flavor sprayed on it.

They’re excited because it’s REAL food.

This is what single ingredient actually looks like.

The funniest part? The same people who say “that’s gross” are usually the ones whose dogs are staring at the bag like they haven’t eaten in a week.

Some dogs will make a chicken foot last 10 minutes. (good girl Rizzo)

Some dogs will make it disappear in 10 seconds. (Ahem, Walter)

Either way, we have a treat for that.

Dehydrated chicken feet aren’t just a crunchy snack.

The chewing action helps support dental health by encouraging natural chewing behavior.

Chewing is a form of enrichment that gives dogs a job to do and helps satisfy natural instincts.

Naturally occurring cartilage and connective tissue make chicken feet a great addition for supporting healthy hips & joints, especially for older dogs.

One ingredient. No fillers. Just a species-appropriate treat that lets dogs do what dogs do best.

CHEW.

Available at Richmond IN Farmers Market + ThePetWellnessProject.com

Healthy treats. Expert nutrition.

Quick note: these are not cooked chicken bones from your dinner plate. Cooked bones can become brittle and splinter.

Our chicken feet are dehydrated at low temps to preserve the whole food.

ALWAYS supervise your pet and choose chews appropriate for your dog’s size and chewing style.

3 years ago today we said goodbye to Sam. 💚

I still carry the weight of all the things I would have done differently.

I would have said no to the extra vaccines the vet gave him as a puppy “just to be safe” that resulted in lifelong autoimmune problems.

Life dealt him a sh*tty hand. Had I known better, it could’ve been prevented.

That reality is hard to sit with, but I feel that to my core.

But it’s also the reason this “project” exists.

It was built from grief, guilt, love, education, and the desire to help other pet parents question more and advocate harder for the animals depending on them.

Sam’s life was cut short by cancer but his purpose will be everlasting. 💚

Sensitive stomach? Picky eater? Digestive drama?

Unfortunately for your nose, we have a treat for that.

This is green tripe, AKA the lining of a cow’s stomach.

And while most humans would rather absolutely not, dogs act like it’s a Michelin star meal.

Why? Because tripe naturally contains:
• digestive enzymes
• beneficial nutrients
• species-appropriate goodness their bodies actually recognize

Yes, it smells horrifying.

Yes, my dehydrator becomes a crime scene for 24 hours.

And yes, my pack would like me to make it every single day.

For you: the satisfaction of knowing you’re feeding something biologically appropriate instead of “bacon cheeseburger flavored” mystery snacks.

Real food wins again.
