We didn't let the rain yesterday stop our fun! With a large awning we simply moved our grill and tables to under the shelter and had a blast.

The consensus is that the food was too good and everyone ate too much. I argue that we simply really needed to fuel up so we could do our best taking care of the pups.

This was a great way to kick off summer. We wouldn't have been going to the pool in this weather anyway!

Who doesn't love a good watermelon eating contest!?

We had a little fun yesterday with a cookout under the awning, but the crew also got to show off some of their eating skills!

We love working with all the dogs, but sometimes it's fun to just kick back for a few hours and act like the fun-loving people we are. And all that time in the yard, walking with the dogs, and keeping them entertained really works up an appetite!

Finding time to work out can be a real struggle, but it's not about how I look. Rather, it is important so that I can keep doing what I really love to do: work with the dogs.

Strength, cardio, and balance work allow me to interact with the pups without injury and often provide some extra exercise for the dogs as well!
