Eevee is my most recent foster dog. Shes an 8 yr old, toy poodle. I wasn’t prepared for the magnitude of her immediate health needs to be addressed . Her former owners truly believed she was urinating excessively due to being unhappy with new babies in the house . Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and the poor girl has painful bladder stones that cause her to not be able to fully empty her bladder . She strains for several minutes to urinate and has the urgency to go , about ever 25-50 feet during leashed walks . She’s under the care of a wonderful vet in Richmond Va , Dr Dodson at Betty Baugh’s Animal clinic . Aside from her bladder surgery, she desperately needs a dental cleaning . Eevee also has to wear diapers daily and requires expensive prescription food . Please help if you’re able , no amount is too small. All shares are greatly appreciated . Thank you .

Meet Sire ! He’s a 2 yr old Doberman in need of a little help. He found his way to me through no fault of his own . I volunteered to transport him to his adoptive home 360 miles away from Richmond ,Va to Scranton,PA. Once we got to PA the new adopters did not work out . They weren’t compliant with the rules of the rescue and it wasn’t a good fit . So back to Richmond we went , with no plan , no way to house another dog and prayers that my husband wouldn’t divorce me . I was promised by the rescue that they would pay for him to be boarded in a facility , they have not . I’ve pretty much been abandoned by an organization that I thought was reputable and left with a dog (whom I adore) that I’m unable to provide for . He needs to be neutered before he can be adopted .

Sire is bilateral cryptorchid, which means his neuter will be more expensive and more intensive than a regular neuter. His testicles never dropped and are just floating around somewhere in his abdomen . We have an appointment today at a local clinic for a neuter evaluation and cost estimate . This isn’t something I’m able to cover out of pocket . I need help raising funds for his surgery and care . If you’re able to help, Sire and I would certainly appreciate it . For now, I’m grooming as many dogs as possible and sewing bandanas to sell to raise enough money for his procedure as well as take care of my own family and animals .

Easy enrichment on this beautiful day. This is how Bernie is having her lunch . Baby pool, miscellaneous toys that make a little noise and her regular kibble hidden all through it . She’s been working on it for a while and is completely engaged 😍

We stay pretty busy and don’t post a whole lot. That’s just kinda how things have been for a while . Grooming and loving all of the dogs we can makes very little time for advertising or social media

Peaceful Paws pack walks and park trips have been a great way to kick off the warm weather ! Our group walks are an amazing way for the dogs to learn to work together as a team . Every day my focus is on the total wellness and safety of the dogs in my care . I exercise their bodies and brains ! A tired dog is a good dog ❤️
