Meet Sire ! He’s a 2 yr old Doberman in need of a little help. He found his way to me through no fault of his own . I volunteered to transport him to his adoptive home 360 miles away from Richmond ,Va to Scranton,PA. Once we got to PA the new adopters did not work out . They weren’t compliant with the rules of the rescue and it wasn’t a good fit . So back to Richmond we went , with no plan , no way to house another dog and prayers that my husband wouldn’t divorce me . I was promised by the rescue that they would pay for him to be boarded in a facility , they have not . I’ve pretty much been abandoned by an organization that I thought was reputable and left with a dog (whom I adore) that I’m unable to provide for . He needs to be neutered before he can be adopted .
Sire is bilateral cryptorchid, which means his neuter will be more expensive and more intensive than a regular neuter. His testicles never dropped and are just floating around somewhere in his abdomen . We have an appointment today at a local clinic for a neuter evaluation and cost estimate . This isn’t something I’m able to cover out of pocket . I need help raising funds for his surgery and care . If you’re able to help, Sire and I would certainly appreciate it . For now, I’m grooming as many dogs as possible and sewing bandanas to sell to raise enough money for his procedure as well as take care of my own family and animals .
