I wasn’t going to go, I didn’t want it to be a photo op...(overthinking it) But when my girlfriends hit me up today saying we should go I took that as my sign...I also decided that my son needed to see it. We talk daily about what is going on in the world and what it means to be black in America. And because I am a mom to a black boy who will one day be a black man. He has to know what we are living through and that no matter what anyone tries to tell him or how they might make him feel, that his life matters. ❤️ 📸 .jwood
