So for all of you growing tomatoes please have a daily check of your plants. I looked a few days ago and found these little black spots on the leaves. It’s definitely caterpillar p**p. So I looked on the underside of the leaves above where I saw the p**p. Low and behold there’s the horn worm. If you see the black poo it’s there. Black light flashlights are a great and entertaining way to see them after dark if you can’t find them during the day. I’m up to 21 in the last three days. Our green lacewings will be here this week and that should help. Just a small PSA to check your plants and what to look for.

6 years ago I stared this journey in my neighborhood. Now we’re redoing everything on the farm. I’ve come a long way in this and can’t wait to get this crazy year in full swing.

Blue oyster made in to fruiting blocks this morning. Hopefully they’re ready for the first CSA pickup on the 27th of May definitely ready for pickup number two. Lion’s lane going into block at the end of the week.

Fruiting blocks getting ready for the sterilization process. Looks like Blue Oyster and Lions Mane are the first to get going. Won’t be long now. Just in time for the start of the CSA. Speaking of which the website is up and shares are still available for this season.
