Another farmers market ensemble completed! Just need a warm sunny day and a farmers market. 😹 The wrap ruffled skirt is my Harald Check in buttercup yellow on cotton lawn. The top is my Chloe Dot in buttercup yellow on cotton spandex jersey. I can adjust the side ties as I continue to lose weight!
I have a yellow SNAG chub rub short to wear with it, as well as yellow sandals from Sorel. Yellow was my mom’s favorite color and I’m quite partial to it as well! 💛 Check out my shop, LilyOake, on the Spoonflower website.

I made the wrap ruffled skirt in December.
Finally got my act together to sew the coordinating tee!!

Skirt is Gustav Check in coraline 🧡 on cotton lawn.
Wrap, Ruffled
Tee is organic cottn knit in Wide Stripe coraline 🧡.
Fitted, short sleeves, bateau neckline.

It’s perfect!!
I’m so proud of this outfit.
Now I just need a summer Saturday and a farmers market - and my French straw market bag.

Completing the 2-piece in my studio today! The tap ruffled skirt was sewn back before Thanksgiving. The tie front blouse was sewn in today, a Sunday in January 2026! The timeline doesn’t matter because it’s way too cold outside to wear cotton lawn right now. 🙀 I might add ruffles to the sleeves. Big sloppy ones. The fabric pattern is Cecily Scattered in aqua blue.

Another Sunday - another skirt! Still the same wrap ruffled skirt pattern. I love that you can adjust it for sizes. I’m still on a weight loss journey so this way, I can resew the ties inwards as I lose weight! This skirt is in my Harald Check in seaglass green.

This afternoon, after groceries were bought, laundry done and house picked up, I sat in my sewing space and got the top made - matches the wrap ruffled skirt I sewed in November!

My custom print “Chateau St Emilion” in seaglass green.
Isn’t it lovely?
This yard will be embellished as well, with clear crystals
This is how the color compares to the aqua version
Both are printed on celosia velvet.

The aqua version will become a satin lined cocoon coat edged with faux white rabbit fur and highlighted by crystals over the chandelier pinpoints of light.

The seaglass green will be backed with a white fleece and be a winter/holiday lap throw. Also embellishedwith crystals.
