What’s next this summer?!
Come on by to the Fairgrounds 5K on August 30 — run, walk or just shop the farmer’s market! I’ll be there selling soap, jewel w**d salve .. I may trial some new goat milk lotion(!!!) and free (temp) goat tattoos! 💚

🐐 I'll be teaching four cold process goat milk soap-making classes this winter through Merrymeeting Adult Education. The classes will be at Richmond High School, starting at 6 p.m.

🫧 Please flip through the pics to see class details and some soapy inspiration! Each week will be a different soap-pouring technique.

🧼 Class registration is $35 with an additional $35 for supplies. I will be sending more information to participants as the dates approach!

🌘 It's a great way to spend some time in the darkest parts of winter! Maybe get some friends together for a soap night!!

📣📣 Ok, friends .. I’m trying an online shop for some soap sales. Online inventory will come after I have stocked my regular locations — but I’m working to get far enough ahead to fulfill everyone’s soapy needs! 🫧

📨 I haven’t figured out shipping direct from the website (yet), but can ship if you are willing to pay the shipping cost.

⭐️ For now — it’s all farm pick up! If you place an order this week, please know that I cannot fill it until Sunday / Monday because I am joining Scott up north for a few days! 🌲

The best buck(s) you can afford.
The first pic is a doe in her 5th freshening, 12 hr fill.
The second pic is her daughter, in her 3rd freshening, 12 hr fill.
The third is the second doe’s daughter as a first freshener, also a 12 hr fill.

Three different bucks — each a bit more impressive (LA, dam with milk stars, etc) than the last. Does do matter — but a nice buck can do a lot for you in just a few generations. 💛

Ruth, Lenny & I have been walking in the woods in the evening. It’s a nice way to wrap up a day, enjoy each other’s company, break free from screens and connect with nature right here in the back yard. We even have the occasional goat join in! 💚

I’m jealous of people who can walk with their herds .. anyone have tips and tricks to convince their girls it is safe to walk away from the barn?! I’d love to take the whole herd for walks!
