from the news: The Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Department celebrated the opening of the Clover Hill Dog Park at CTC @ Hull in a virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony Jan. 28. The park, located at 13900 Hull Street Road, is the third dog park in the county and includes a small dog run area, large dog run area, and a paved and gated release foyer. Water access is scheduled to be installed in the spring. In addition to the newly opened park, dog owners can also exercise their furry friends at Ruff House Dog Park at Rockwood Park and Chester Dog Park at Goyne Park, which added an agility course in 2020.

As a reminder. The Friends of Ruff House was disbanded due to lack of volunteers. There will not be a Howl-a-woof event this year. But there are many other events around town to enjoy with your pup.

The water is back on at the park.

The county has re-opened the park, but it is NOT being sanitized. This is not an endorsement to go, but is a notice of the its status. Please be considerate of the park’s community and observe social distancing practices if you do go to the park.
